Locate the fiber optic line in the picture above. The connection from your house to the nearest TM Box is still copper wire. Behind that, we have fiber optic lines. Getting Started With Migration – The Method:

Option 2 – New Number We will install a new line with new number. Once the installation is complete and Streamyx is installed, you cancel old line. Option 1 – Retain your number Cancel Streamyx on your line. Number will migrate to new backbone network in 30 days approx. We will reinstall S treamyx on your line. Do I have to migrate? No. Migration is optional at this time but it makes sense to migrate at zero cost now. You say zero cost migration but I need to pay the contractor? The contractor is authorized by TM but is not TM. The money paid to him does not go into our pockets. How can migration fail in Option 1? Each internet connection has a port at our end. When streamyx is cancelled, the port is released. It will be allotted to the next person waiting for the connection. If too many people apply for streamyx during the migration, it can happen that all ports are full and streamyx cannot be given. FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I migrate and not upgrade? Upgrade means you can go to the higher plan only. You will not get all the free stuff with the upgrade. What if I do not migrate? You continue to enjoy your current service. This may be more expensive, slower in performance and unrealiable . I have internal wiring. Must I get it done again?
