The Big Cut :

The Big Cut To all the people who donated and supported my cut for Alopecia thank you !

How It All Started :

How It All Started I’ve had long hair for a very long time. People always complimented me on my hair. They even said things like “I wish I had your hair”! Guess what, soon someone will!

My Decision …… :

My Decision …… One day I thought of all the children that lose their hair for no reason, and decided that I should cut some off for the children that have a condition called Alopecia.

Getting Ready For The Day :

Getting Ready For The Day After considering this for awhile it was time to cut my hair off. I felt sad, scared and exited all at the same time and wasn’t sure if I should do it or not. Then I made up my mind and said to myself ‘I am brave and kind, I’m going to cut 30cm off’.

Chop Chop! :

Chop Chop! It was time for the cut I sat in the chair and Serenity (my hairdresser) asked ‘what would you like’ and my mummy answered ‘30cm off please’. ‘30cm it is’ replied Serenity. First she put 3 ponytails in my hair. One on the left, one on the right and one in the back. After that she turned those ponytails into braids. Once that was done she cut just above the braids and snip it was off, and another snip and another. Now I had short hair!

Measuring Up! :

No Turning Back! :

No Turning Back!

No Longer Mine! :

No Longer Mine! It’s ready to go off to someone else!

The Big Difference :

The Big Difference On our way home we stopped at the shops and went into Diva. I got 2 blue clips, a purple clip, a pink headband and a orange headband with a orange flower on it. About 10 minutes later we were home and I looked in the mirror again and saw a big difference!

Off it goes! :

Off it goes! Now my hair is all in a Ziploc bag and ready to post. I have to send it to the Princess Charlotte Alopecia Foundation. I hope my donation makes someone SMILE! 

Thanks! :

Thanks! Thanks to each and everyone of you who donated! You have helped me make a difference! Love Jamila xxx
