Thanks for your interest in our Technical Analysis Software. We are going to give step by step instruction for using our software. After Installing the Stocktech software go to About -> enter the password as “raja” and then go to opening menu -> Add -> Company :

Enter the NSE code for the scrip you want to add to our software.:

Software will ask for confirmation for addition of the company name.:

After addition of company in software go to Internet Explorer (do not use any other browser) and open www.nseindia.com -> products -> capital market -> Equities:

In Equities select Historical data:

Go to the Right side section Monthly Reports Archives -> Archieves of Monthly Reports:

In Historical data -> Security wise Price volume archives -> Security wise price volume data. In Symbol enter the nse code and select series as ‘EQ’ and select the Time which is 25 working days or 4 weeks data in the demo version and 2500 working days or 10 years in Fully Licensed version.:

When the data is displayed, Right click with mouse on “Download file in csv format” and select “Save target as”

Save the file as csv in Desktop :

Now open the saved CSV file by Right clicking the mouse and choose “Open with” - > “Wordpad”:

Now save the opened file as “Text document” in to the folder where you have installed Stocktech software and enter the file name as “nse-single”:

Now open the Stocktech software and choose the option Tools -> Add data to a Single Company:

Software will ask confirmation for having stored the nse-single.txt in to the folder where you have installed Stocktech software:

Enter the file number as 1 for the first company and in ascending order for the next 9 companies. Maximum 10 NSE CODES can be added in DEMO version and 2500 in the Licensed version. :

In Few seconds “ Data appended Successfully” message will come and software will close automatically. You can repeat the same steps for adding up to 10 Nse codes.:

Open the Software again and Click on Daily Graph, Weekly Graph or Monthly Graph buttons:

A Drop down list will open displaying the Nse codes of the stocks for which you have added data.:

After selecting the Nse code you can view Various Charts by selecting the Curve Types:

You can Zoom in or out for a particular period by entering the number of days:

Now let us see how data is to updated daily without manual feeding. Go to Nseindia.com -> Capital Market -> Equities :

Current Market Reports -> View all end of the day reports:

Select Bhavcopy file (CSV) -> right click with mouse and select -> save target as :
