Dedicated to my daughter Jessica Marie. Although she did not die, she is not the same little girl she was before her illness. This is dedicated to who she was, the little girl we miss dearly.

Jessica Marie On August 22, 2004, our daughter almost died from a viral encephalitis. She survived, but is no longer the little girl we once knew. This song is dedicated to who she used to be.

Who she was…. : 

Who she was…. A spunky, lively and smart girl that loved to sing and dance. She dreamed of one day becoming an Obstetrician and of course, a wife and mother.

Who she’d be today… : 

Who she’d be today… She would be in sixth grade today. She would be in her school’s chorus and dance team. Most definitely she would be popular and maybe have a boyfriend.

She was here for a brief moment in time, but touched many lives…. :

Who she is today… : 

Who she is today… Jessica lies in bed, unable to move, talk, walk or do anything. She has Cerebral Palsy and each day is a battle of some sort, yet she continues to hold on to life.

She is an angel among us… :
