PowerPoint Presentation: Here We Go Again! An OWBC! Chapter Seven: Business as Usual PowerPoint Presentation: Welcome back! I'm sorry it took so long for me to update! Last time, the girls were smustling, my bad apple, Jon, was a tame toddler, the girls danced some more, Komei found a treasure chest, the household got a computer, Juliet started glitching up with dog food, Miranda turned into a teenager, Juliet and Jon grew into kids, a fight broke out between Jon and Mint (which Mint won), Jon was just generally being mean to everyone, Tempest had another plantspawn (a boy named Birch), and then Mint turned into a teenager. Now for everyone who mentioned the lighting was quite dark – I managed to pull out my lighting mod, so hopefully things will get brighter! Also, I've changed the way I write speech for the OWBC. Let me know what you think of the new style! PowerPoint Presentation: And so we begin with the youngest of Tempest and Komei's brood. Birch is quite a sweet and quiet kid, but that might be because his older siblings are so much louder. PowerPoint Presentation: In the kitchen, Miranda and Komei are gossiping about someone (no doubt it's one of the kids. They're always swapping secrets about the kids). Komei: You mean Birch still wets himself? That's hilarious! PowerPoint Presentation: Jon wasn't irritating anyone, choosing instead to glare at the windows while Amy watched. PowerPoint Presentation: Amy then went and showed off for Mint. It seems my sims enjoy nothing more than showing off as children. PowerPoint Presentation: See? Even Juliet is doing it! Luckily Jon's not booing anyone this time around. PowerPoint Presentation: It seems Jon would rather play sims. I'm wondering what his OWBC would be like! PowerPoint Presentation: Miranda doesn't act mean in game, but she has very few nice points. Mint should really know better than to challenge Miranda to punch-you-punch-me. PowerPoint Presentation: Mint: Miranda?! What the hell! Yeah, if you've got Miranda running around in your game (and I know some of you have) don't expect her to behave herself! PowerPoint Presentation: Unfortunately, it's time to send Miranda to university. I'm really going to miss having her around! We'll catch up with her in the next chapter. PowerPoint Presentation: Inside, things are getting heated again. Which Tempest dislikes. PowerPoint Presentation: I'm pretty sure this is Jon and Juliet having a fight. Making them the least twin-like twins I've ever had in my game. Odd, right? PowerPoint Presentation: Juliet: No one messes with me! Juliet definitely knows how to handles herself. And Jon just can't seem to win a fight. PowerPoint Presentation: He may not get on with any of his siblings, but he's kind to the fish. I'm wondering if he's not as mean as I think he is, and that it's just low aspiration. Guess we'll find out when he eventually gets to uni. PowerPoint Presentation: Then came a triple birthday. PowerPoint Presentation: Amy was growing into a teenager, so she went first. PowerPoint Presentation: Mint had the honour of bringing Birch to his cake. Amy did not look pleased that Mint didn't wait until she'd grown up to bring Birch to the cake. Mint also invented a new way of holding toddlers while she was at it. PowerPoint Presentation: And finally, Tempest was growing into an elder. Doesn't time fly? Seven chapters and her entire adulthood is gone. PowerPoint Presentation: Amy grew into a pretty young lady of the Family aspiration. PowerPoint Presentation: I think Birch rolled popularity, but I'm not actually sure right now. My notes are in my laptop case somewhere, but I can't find them. He looks like a male-version of Mint. I'm not convinced any of Tempest's genetics made it to Birch. PowerPoint Presentation: Speaking of Tempest, she grew into an elder who doesn't look much different to her adult self. PowerPoint Presentation: It's only looking back through these pictures that I notice Amy's necklace is messed up. Sigh. Anyway, didn't she grow up pretty? PowerPoint Presentation: And Birch. Turned out pretty well, no? The youngest is an adult! Which is odd, considering Juliet and Jon are still just kids. Birch will be producing a Quad Pod at a later date. PowerPoint Presentation: With Amy now a teenager, Mint felt it was time she joined Miranda at uni, and left in the dead of night. Yes, I am trying to move the generation forwards a bit. PowerPoint Presentation: Unfortunately for Tempest and Amy, smustling is just not the same without Miranda or Mint. PowerPoint Presentation: Komei: Um, help?! Dammit, Komei! Why couldn't you get abducted when you were young enough to produce alien offspring! PowerPoint Presentation: My sympathy for him is gone, as there are no green babies at the end of this abduction. I feel cheated, for some reason. Mostly because he decides to get abducted when it's too late! PowerPoint Presentation: The lack of knowledge sims means no one was impressed by Komei's trip into space. PowerPoint Presentation: The next few days pass quietly as Amy takes over the role of oldest sibling. Well. Technically. If you're not looking at the fact Birch is an adult. This role includes dancing with Juliet. PowerPoint Presentation: Starting smustles with other siblings. PowerPoint Presentation: And ignoring Komei when he ages before he reaches the cake the family just bought for him. PowerPoint Presentation: Komei hasn't changed, at all, and I am very glad of this fact. PowerPoint Presentation: That night, I remembered I had chosen the Ghost Hunt mini challenge, and I hadn't even started collecting my gravestones yet. So naturally, it was time to make a start. And send Joe Carr, the first person to steal the family gnome, to a watery grave. PowerPoint Presentation: Komei: I'm starting to think we shouldn't have sold that pool ladder. Do I feel bad about killing sims? Yes, a little bit, I don't like to make a habit of it. That's when I read the rules again. A member of the bloodline has to die for the mini-challenge! But I'll decide on who later. :( PowerPoint Presentation: I honestly wonder about Jon's personality. Because here he is, in the dead of night, throwing a tantrum by the flamingo army. I know that means his aspiration can't be good. PowerPoint Presentation: In other news, I changed Amy's outfit, so that her necklace would stop glitching up. I also noted how pretty she is at the same time. PowerPoint Presentation: I forgot how long it takes to drown a sim. Joe looks like he's almost enjoying his time spent in the pool, and he's been in there for a few hours. PowerPoint Presentation: Tempest passed out from a lack of sunshine. That's the only problem with my plantsims, there isn't enough sun lamps to go around at the minute. PowerPoint Presentation: Birch feels the strain, too. I'm pretty sure he passed out, but I don't have a picture of that. PowerPoint Presentation: Jon stayed up all night looking at the stars, and there were no consequences for this. He went to school fine in the morning, with no complaining he was tired. PowerPoint Presentation: Birch found there were problems with using the telescope, however. Delilah: Why are you spying on me?! Birch: I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure you don't live in that mansion across the street. PowerPoint Presentation: Tempest and Birch then spend the rest of the day watching clouds in order to gain back their sunlight need. PowerPoint Presentation: If you think Amy is sweet and nice because she's the girly sister, think again. She may not be as mean as some of the other Blues (Miranda and Juliet) but she's definitely not too nice to give noogies. PowerPoint Presentation: Besides, I think she quite likes this guy. PowerPoint Presentation: Too bad he doesn't like her. I'm sure her luck will change at uni. PowerPoint Presentation: Later that day, the twins grew up. Juliet rolled Pleasure. And I think she's the most unique-looking sister this generation. PowerPoint Presentation: Jon also grew up, and decided to use this as an opportunity to pick on Amy. He rolled popularity. Though I doubt he's going to be popular, given his current people-skills. PowerPoint Presentation: I don't know why he doesn't like Amy. But she doesn't like him either, -100/-100, and enemies. She's also furious at him. PowerPoint Presentation: Death: WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO? That night, Joe finally passes away, and my favourite NPC comes to visit. PowerPoint Presentation: And so, we have our first grave! The ghost hunt has officially begun. PowerPoint Presentation: No one noticed that Joe Carr died, as Jon and Amy had started fighting upstairs. PowerPoint Presentation: Jon won the fight, which was unexpected. I don't think I've seen him win a fight before. PowerPoint Presentation: He is being to bother me with his constant mean-ness. I hope his behaviour improves at uni. PowerPoint Presentation: Meanwhile, Juliet, the most playful of her generation, is sliding down the stairs. No, I didn't know playful sims could do that. PowerPoint Presentation: Juliet: You're insane if you didn't know I could do that. This whole family is insane. PowerPoint Presentation: Even though they're probably my most un-twinly twins ever, Juliet is the only person I've seen Jon talking to normally. Maybe it's a twin thing? PowerPoint Presentation: The next day, we finally open a boolprop clubhouse. About time, right? PowerPoint Presentation: The family is still pretty poor, so even though they could afford all the gadgets for their business, they couldn't really afford a building to keep them in. So it looks like we won't be open in the winter, but that's fine. PowerPoint Presentation: The business is relatively easy to run, which makes it very dull sometimes. Even when my simself shows up to play Myshuno. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any other simselves yet. PowerPoint Presentation: A couple of interesting things did happen, though. We had a witch glitch – last time I saw this, I ended up having to rebuild the 'hood. PowerPoint Presentation: And this guy couldn't remember how to drink from a can, which I also found amusing. PowerPoint Presentation: That's about it for this time, but before you go, how about a run down on all the kids who are up for heirship, as it's heir poll time! PowerPoint Presentation: Miranda Blue 5/8/8/5/3 Knowledge Miranda is artistic and prone to start group smustling. Her mean streak is very rarely seen, but we all know it's there. She looks quite different from her other sisters. PowerPoint Presentation: Mint Blue 5/5/5/5/5 Popularity Mint was originally a plantspawn from Tempest, but was cured as a toddler so she could grow up with the rest of the generation. She's quite bold and unique. PowerPoint Presentation: Amy Blue 3/6/7/5/5 Family Amy is the girly sister, and often acts like the nicest sister, too. She's been picked on by her younger brother for most of the generation. She looks almost completely like her mother. PowerPoint Presentation: Juliet Blue 10/2/8/10/3 Pleasure Juliet is the shyest of the kids, but certainly doesn't act like it! She's a tomboy, and a fun seeker by name and by aspiration. Looks-wise, she is very different to the other girls. PowerPoint Presentation: Jonathon 'Jon' Blue Bad apple Popularity Jon acts mean, but no one knows if he is or not. During his upbringing, he bullied his sisters, fought with Amy, and threw many tantrums. He is a good mix of both his parents. PowerPoint Presentation: Birch Blue 5/5/5/5/5 Popularity The youngest of the generation, even though he's already an adult, Birch is another plantspawn. Eventually, he will spawn the quad pod. PowerPoint Presentation: Jack Blue You cannot vote for Jack. I just thought you might like to see him all grown up. PowerPoint Presentation: Harry Blue You cannot vote for Harry. Again, I thought you might want to see him grown up. And that's it for this chapter! Thanks for reading!
