Overview:

Overview Highlight AFRL Information Directorate’s legacy of developing and supporting leading edge systems and processes for the General Defense Intelligence Program (GDIP) community Delineate how these systems and processes are contributing to the evolution of the AOC Weapon System JEFX 00 CAOC-X Standup PSAB Employment Block 20 and Beyond

Intelligence Data Handling System (IDHS) Program:

Intelligence Data Handling System (IDHS) Program AC2ISRC/A-2 serves as Executive Agent for IDHS products/processes 35 GDIP Billets at AFRL (24 Civilian/11 Military) 30+ Year Legacy of Applying Leading Edge Technologies to Provide Sustainable, Cost Effective Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DODIIS) Solutions for: Security Infrastructure/Multi-Level Security Information Dissemination/Record Message Communications Processing Intelligence Exploitation/Production Tools and Databases Enterprise Management Processes and Testing Methods Support to DIA, NIMA, Unified Commands, Military Services, Tactical Units, Coalition Partners, & Product Centers/SPOs

AFRL’s Contribution to the DODIIS Enterprise :

AFRL’s Contribution to the DODIIS Enterprise Secure Software Infrastructure Enables low-cost integration of mission applications and addresses security requirements for the enterprise Certification Testing Process Ensures compliance with infrastructure, interoperability and security requirements prior to fielding Configuration Management Provides configuration control for individual system program offices and user site environments Adhering to these principles results in: Open, secure architecture with documented standards/integration criteria Quick transition of new capability to the field that is tested, sustainable and supported An enterprise that is maintainable by fewer and lower skill level personnel

Air Force DoDIIS Infrastructure (AFDI):

Air Force DoDIIS Infrastructure (AFDI) DIA-approved system security services for COE transition Built on an enterprise-wide concept that includes DIA, NIMA, CINCS, Services, and Deployed Components Legacy Product (CSE-SS) supports over 250 locations and over 25,000 users—AFDI Operational Deployment Underway Icon-based system administration capability Highly flexible and well documented infrastructure--enables rapid establishment of network and integration of mission applications Allows DII/COE Segmented and Non-Segmented applications to co-exist—provides a low risk strategy for transitioning to COE ESC/SR is integrating AFDI into DCGS ESC/AC is evaluating AFDI for potential application in TBMCS

AFDI Supports COE and Legacy Applications:

AFDI Supports COE and Legacy Applications UN-Segmented Apps run under AFDI Sessions (Interoperability in mixed environment during transition) Segmented Apps Continue to run under COE Profiles

Joint Integration Test Facility:

Joint Integration Test Facility JITF has supported the DIA DODIIS Management Board for fielding decisions for 6 years Each application is evaluated against a common set of requirements: Installable as documented Effect on operation of other applications Operation within enterprise infrastructure (AFDI) Level of effort required to manage and use applications in the site computing environment Security of the operating environment Execution and management of applications will not be affected by addition or deletion of any other application Approach is consistent with DII COE integration principles SYSTEM XYZ

CUBIC CM Services:

CUBIC CM Services Problem Reports and Change Requests software problems or enhancements Document Review Reports change control for program documentation Requirements program level specifications for future development efforts Test Findings software and documentation discrepancies identified during Integration, Interoperability, and Security testing Supports a mature and well defined process and answers questions such as: What action items are due this month? When will my problem report be fixed? What sites are running ISSE Guard version 3.2? Who is on the distribution list for AFDI v1.1? Is there an ICD available for BROADSWORD?
