Slide1:

Black holes are the final step in stellar evolution. They form when massive stars run out of “fuel” and can no longer hold off the forces of gravity. This forms an object whose gravity is infinite, a singularity.

Slide2:

Schwarzschild was a German astronomer who came up with the theory of a black hole being a non-rotating, symmetrical star.

Slide3:

Roy Kerr was a mathematician, who in 1964, came up with the idea of a rotating spherical black hole.

Slide4:

Both black holes are stationary in time and can be described by there mass and angular movement. All black holes have a charge of “Q,” but particles of the opposite charge are attracted immediately and so some say there is no charge.
