Around 15,000 of the world’s best athletes compete for glory, watched by a global audience of billions of people. If the Olympic Games were in London in 2012, thousands of people would visit this country. How old will you be in 2012? How exciting would it be to be involved in the world’s greatest festivals of sport? London’s Games will be for everyone The Olympic Games are not just for athletes, they are for everyone. Everyone has a part in making the Games successful. In 2012 you might be an engineer helping to design and build the Olympic stadiums. In 2012 you might be a journalist or artist, writing and designing for the Games. In 2012 you might be an airline pilot flying visitors and athletes to this country. In 2012 you might be an IT expert making sure that the Games run smoothly. In 2012 you might be an Olympic or Paralympic athlete competing for gold.
