Slide 2: 

Welcome to Interlude Chapter 3, normally any chapters with this title are about the history of Hidden City and what the gods were up to before the legacy. But not this one, this chapter is called Arrivals it will help explain some more of the secrets of Hidden City concerning the immortal god-like Simselves. Oh and Stealth Kitty says hi. (see title page) The kitty on the title page was just playing in the ferns at the park in Downtown Nagoya while his homeless owner slept in the summer heat beside the planter. I was wandering around the park and I had to get that picture, the cat was adorable. Kawaii neko-chan!! Okay, on with the chapter…

Slide 3: 

The fifth generation of legacy kids was originally only eight but this little one was extremely late coming. Tavi, having been probed previously in college; had the want to be abducted again pop up more frequently after his oldest three left for college so he took it upon himself to see if they would come back…and they did.

Slide 4: 

For Meadow, this meant she would have another little baby to care for. She too had been feeling the effects of Empty Nest syndrome since the kids left. She topped the Education career a while ago so she wasn’t missing for Platinum, but still a Family life pather at heart.

Slide 5: 

Ah, the joys of birth… No wonder it’s usually women who do this…

Slide 6: 

Though after all that is said and done, the reward for the pain is the very best part. His third daughter, Andromeda turned out beautifully. She had blond hair and Tavi’s green eyes. She would be attending college with generation six, however. She won’t be old enough to make it with her half siblings and cousins this generation.

Slide 7: 

Andromeda Thayer would be the first alien child to be born in Hidden City, Tavi knew she might face some teasing at school for it because she’s green. Only time will tell what being born half alien in a city ruled by Greek gods and filled with ancient magic will hold in store for little Andromeda…

Slide 8: 

There would be plenty of time before she would have to deal with all the trials and tribulations of growing up half alien in this place, right now all that mattered was that she was happy and content to be played with by her father.

Slide 9: 

However, the baby stage never lasts long enough for Family types and they soon have to move on. It did mean a whole new world of adventure and excitement though, for both the parent and child. That was a stage Tavi really enjoyed most.

Slide 10: 

He would see no more of this until the grandbabies came along… Andromeda Thayer: Aries 9/10/10/6/0

Slide 11: 

She was meaner than a rattlesnake with a fang ache, and fully outgoing as well. Making her truly unique among the shyer, nicer members of generation five… Cats beware: mobile toddler on the loose…and poor Alegra got caught first. Alegra: Why me?

Slide 12: 

Koneko: Help…choking…life fading before eyes… Andromeda: KITTEH!! Koneko here is Charlie’s mate and mother to the next generation of Thayer cats. Yes I decided to go with a mini Petacy (even though it’s three generations late beginning) along with this legacy but only for Tavi’s line. Cuz I love Tavi. ^_^

Slide 13: 

Koneko: Very well, I shall let you have this round Green Small One… Andromeda: Kitteh purr.

Slide 14: 

Eventually, Andromeda released Koneko and found the xylophone toy in the kitchen. It was just in time too, Koneko is about to get her sparklies…

Slide 15: 

The result: Twin kittens, one male one female again. Charlie was a twin so it makes sense that his mate would have twins also. Top corner is Artemis, the male kitten and middle is Luna, the female. Three guesses where I got those names… (Shadow, *looks at you* :P)

Slide 16: 

Elsewhere in Hidden City, if you remember Solan and Ginny had a little whoopsie in the helicopter at the beginning of Chapter 17 B and they had another son. This is Darian, and he’s as squee-worthy as Andromeda.

Slide 18: 

This is what it’s like to be inside Solan…curb those thoughts girls. It is what he sees from his POV. ^_^

Slide 19: 

I never mentioned it before now, but this is Solan’s familiar Elysium. Another female cat but she’s not a genius like Neko Mimi, she’s middle of the road and far more Finicky and Independent. She’s also not as strict as Neko Mimi either, she’s friendlier.

Slide 20: 

Solan: You are so good at learning those commands Elysium. Elysium: Only because you’re such a great Charge. Solan: We’re such a great team aren’t we? Elysium: Yes, but we do have some work to do. Solan: Like what?

Slide 21: 

Elysium: There are some new arrivals with great powers in Hidden City, we should discuss them. Solan: Sounds more like a job for Hermes rather than me. Elysium: One has a strong power of pre-cognition, nearly on par with the Oracle of Delphi’s. Solan: So who is he?

Slide 22: 

Shadow: So who are you? Immigration? Niko: Yes, in a way. You’re a simself aren’t you? Shadow: Been called many things. I prefer Super Stealth Ninja.

Slide 23: 

Shadow: So why are we stuck here in this weird house? Niko: This is the Gateway Haven; all powerful entities must come here before they’re allowed inside the Hidden City barrier. Shadow: Why? Niko: Rules.

Slide 24: 

Goderic: So you’re new too huh? Shadow: Hey… I know you. Goderic: A lot of people know me, I’m famous. Shadow: Pleasure sim? Goderic: Pleasure sim.

Slide 25: 

Shadow: I like him; I wanna keep him. That cool with you G-man? Goderic: Huh? Niko: We really should head inside, there’s a lot to discuss.

Slide 26: 

Niko: As I told Shadow, all powerful entities like you have to remain here until you can pass through the barrier. A local god must allow you passage inside. Akio: Right, since we’re full gods now and are taking over for our father Hermes, we have to give you your passes.

Slide 27: 

Joel: Passes? Why do we have to have them? Mystery: Is it like a Green Card or something? Shadow: I just wanna play with Goddy-kins.

Slide 28: 

Toren: You said I had to have one too right? I’m not a Creator or a simself, why do I need it? Akio: You need them because you four have very high power output levels. Niko: We don’t want Dalen to get wise of your true powers, he would most certainly use you against the legacy if he did get them.

Slide 29: 

Niko: The passes are like limiters; they reduce your power levels down to something less detectable to the God of War, giving you the appearances of half gods. He usually ignores half gods since this city is full of them.

Slide 30: 

Joel: So we have to pretend to be weak? Shadow: Yep, fun isn’t it? Mystery: What about Zeus? Won’t he notice?

Slide 31: 

Mystery: Cuz if Zeus is near by…I don’t want you out of my sight Toren. Toren: I can handle myself, I’m a big boy. Shadow: She hates Zeus, thinks he’s a conceited jerk off. Mystery: HE IS!! You saw what he did to Jason… Joel: Who? Shadow: Long story.

Slide 32: 

Niko: Yes, grandfather is a jerk. But he could care less about what we do, he’s still on about Dalen going rogue. Akio: So to answer your question Mystery; Zeus doesn’t know about simselves, he ignores them much like Dalen does. You three will make six in total living here in Hidden City so far. Mystery: Still don’t like him. Never have, never will.

Slide 33: 

Toren: So once we have those passes, what will our accommodations be? Where will we be living? Akio: You can’t become townies, that’s too dangerous. There’s plenty of room in Downtown and the shopping district for you to purchase houses.

Slide 34: 

Mystery: Well I’m staying wherever Toren stays. Toren: Must you? Mystery: Yes, so shush you.

Slide 35: 

Shadow: Can I room with Goddy-kins? Joel: You hardly know the guy!! Shadow: You offering to be my roomie then Joel? Joel: Uhh, no. Shadow: Damn. Well I can always find Koko, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind company.

Slide 36: 

Shadow: What? I love my Koko. Mystery wants to be with Toren, I wanna be with my girl. Akio: If she wants a roommate we can contact her.

Slide 37: 

Joel: Well I’ll take a few motherlodes and the biggest house you got. But no nannies… Mystery: Nannies? Joel: Long story.

Slide 38: 

Mystery: I’m happy with whatever’s available really. Just make it far away from Olympus and Zeus… Toren: I would be more interested in seeing the temples of this city and possibly contacting the Oracle. I think I can learn a lot from her about my pre-cognition powers in this place.

Slide 39: 

Niko: Remember that you have to be careful with your powers here. Of all of you I believe Dalen would use you and your powers to his advantage Toren. Toren: I know, I don’t plan on advertising it all over the place. I just want to see if she can help me, these visions often hit me out of the blue most of the time and I don’t want one of those times to be within sight of the God of War.

Slide 40: 

Mystery: So you know why I want to have you close then, I can protect you if that happens. Toren: I appreciate the effort, but really, it’s not necessary to watch me 24/7.

Slide 41: 

Akio: Okay, if there’s no more questions or comments we can get you guys your passes and you can start house hunting. Niko: We’ll keep in contact until you’re settled. ******

Slide 42: 

Back at Tavi’s lot, both Alegra and Bono had finally become elder cats. Bono, however decided to go and make near enemies out of Charlie and Koneko. It got so bad that Tavi feared it would make one or both of them run away. So he called up his good friend Goderic and decided it was best to sell him both Alegra and Bono. They would be given a good home with him and Paddington and would never have to meet Grim.

Slide 43: 

Also, Luna and Artemis had recently become adult cats. He only needed one of them to carry on the Petacy line and he sold Artemis to Solan and Ginny. Little Darian would love to have cat around to play with, and Artemis was very sweet and gentle.

Slide 44: 

Being born later in the generation, Andromeda had the luck of being able to have a big party for her next birthday. She would be able to start school soon and she was always ready for a party. (Andromeda spamming, sorry. But she’s my BLOND alien and I love my blond aliens.)

Slide 45: 

Orpheus: Is that her? The new baby of the family? Meadow: Don’t worry Orpheus, you’re still my baby boy. Orpheus: Oh I don’t care, just means I’m not the youngest anymore.

Slide 46: 

Orpheus: Which is good news!! I have someone younger to push around. Meadow: Don’t listen to your big brother, Drommy; he doesn’t mean it. Andromeda: Fire…pretty!!

Slide 47: 

Tavi: Now that you’re older, we should work on encouraging some niceness into you. I have no idea how you ended up so mean. Andromeda: But daddy… Tavi: Just give it a try okay?

Slide 48: 

Tavi: Good!! You’re not trying to break my hands, this is a start. Andromeda: Daddy you’re being silly!! Tavi: Maybe so, but it’s true nevertheless.

Slide 49: 

The encouragements were working, she was getting better. And who doesn’t love a nice Hula marathon?

Slide 50: 

I blame Reias and Roxie for unleashing the Hula plague on my townies and playables alike…

Slide 51: 

Darian, like Andromeda will be heading to college with generation six. He’s going to be one of the six late comers to the generation to go. I have a few more to join them.

Slide 52: 

I still have to take some pictures of Darian as a child, but if you need a visual; remember Nathan as a child. He looks almost like him.

Slide 53: 

The others are Liam’s triplets. They have not been seen since they were toddlers but here they are as kids. Facing out are Alex and Leiya, turned away is Lyssa. These three are about a generation and half behind the others so I suppose they’re part of Tavi’s generation. Liam hasn’t been forgotten, he’s just simmering on the back burner right now.

Slide 54: 

Lyra, Batalia’s lost daughter rounds up the six going. Her life with Mo, Poseidon and Becca has been wonderful and very happy. She learned all her skills as a toddler except potty, and generally doesn’t behave as her one Nice point would have her do.

Slide 55: 

Little Lyra was only seen once as a child, way back during Pyrrah and Penelope’s teen hood birthday party. She was part of the background of the crowd but she and Orpheus are BFF’s.

Slide 56: 

I was thinking that the two of them would be a good pairing, even though he will graduate before she starts but that’s not going to be much of a problem. Anyway, this Interlude chapter had some new stuff, some aging and some old memories. I have my Junior year pictures for their college almost finished so that should be up soon as well. Until then, I hope this has been worth while to read.
