For Nathan that meant opening his first business in Hidden City’s shopping district, Aiden finds a new lover or two, Psyche and Pyrrah learn something about each other that they would have been happier not knowing, Bliss contemplates where he wants his relationships with Amanda and Pandora to go, Hope finds unexpected thrills with Hidden City’s very own rich bachelor Aries Tyson and another late comer to generation five arrives… Slide 3: Aiden never tired of this, the always reliable Smooth Talk on new potentials. His bed posts could stand to take a few more notches before he had to replace them right? Even friends of their resident boarder, Leto Hawkins were not safe from the ever wandering eye of his. Leto was Hope’s latest mortal boy toy, she wanted to have him close by if she ever got the urge for some hanky panky even if it meant that Aiden’s opinion of them was less than glowing. Hope could care less about what her older brother said of her mortal toys, she made no arguments about his. They were gods, who cared if a few mortals got their hearts stomped on? There were plenty more where they came from after all. Slide 4: Aiden played with Alexandra merely for the thrill of the chase, he could care less about joining their pathetic Secret Society. He could find them any time he chose to, it wasn’t like there was much you could hide from a god anyway. Alexandra just thought he was another gorgeous jock who came to college on a football scholarship, she didn’t know what he really was. She made four lovers on the line, a far cry from the harem of 20 he wanted to Woo and Hoo but he had three more years to get the rest. Slide 5: But soon enough he wanted another, and Merit Mckinney had the unfortunate pleasure of becoming number five. She wasn’t a college student, she was an adult so he didn’t have to worry about being caught on campus with his other lovers by her. He didn’t expect someone to see him this time though. Slide 6: Castor Nova, one of the losers from the Oresha Cham house on campus happened to be waking by. Castor: Man, he makes Ashley look like a prince. Dude has no shame, if Psyche ever found out… Slide 7: Aiden wasn’t worried about Castor coming down with a case of loose lips, even he knew there was an unwritten code that guys have. You see cheating, you say nothing unless it’s someone you know or care about. Psyche’s cheerleading squad would be soon coming to Sim State for the intercollegiate games but she would be too busy to notice anything. He took his latest conquest inside for some private time away from prying eyes. Slide 8: Hope on the other hand, was far more cautious of her other conquests. When Leto was at class or inside busy she would see or call up her new favourite mortal, Aries Tyson. He was the yang to her yin, the two thought alike and had similar traits. She also had Power of Three with him and that was always good. Leto was fine for late night visits but Aries was far more interesting to be with. And Leto was getting a little clingy too, he wanted more of a commitment but Hope only wanted him for fun. No god marries a mortal, it’s beneath them. At least Dalen said so and Hope adored her father. Slide 9: And Aries was far more interesting…she loved his Screw the World attitude when it came to getting what he wanted at the time and she was all for that. So public woo-hoo was no big deal for the two of them. He had stamina, not as much as her but he was a lot better than Leto was. Slide 10: Hope: Did I ever tell you, you’re amazing? Aries: Frequently, but tell me again I love hearing it. Hope: Mhmm…you really are amazing. Still not as good as me but you’re getting there. Aries: Is that a challenge? I accept. I will be more awesome than you. Hope: Oh do try, I dare you. Slide 11: Hope: Here, let me loosen you up. Then we’ll go at it again just to see if you really can be more awesome than me. Aries: You’re too good to me baby. Hope: You know it. Slide 12: Smaller audience, better show. Pigtail Townie: I hope they wash that out with bleach before anyone uses it again…ewww. Slide 13: Aiden enjoyed the new flavours of Merit and Alexandra but there was something to be said for the old favourites too. Perhaps accepting Psyche’s invitation to take another step was slightly premature. He never listened when she talked, he just added the “Yeahs” and “Uh-huhs” when it was appropriate. If he had, then he would have known that Psyche shares a house with her cousin Pyrrah… Slide 14: Aiden: Oh, Pyrrah!! I didn’t know you were here. Pyrrah: You son of minotaur!! I live here!! Aiden: Wanna join? Pyrrah: Oh gods!! You’re disgusting!! Slide 15: Pyrrah: And to think I actually thought I meant something to you!! My cousin!! You were banging my cousin!! Aiden was surprised by her sudden outburst of attitude, he liked her demure, reserved personality. It let him be the dominate one and he enjoyed that position of power. Slide 16: Fox: Oh this is too awesome!! Like a living soap opera!! HAHAHA!!! Psyche: As if my Aiden would ever be with her. She’s seriously messed up if she thinks she had something with my boyfriend. Fox: Oh man, I was gonna say something else but I forgot what it was. Slide 17: The fight ended up continuing outside the bedroom, Pyrrah called Psyche an empty headed blow up doll for not noticing that she had a claim on Aiden as well. Psyche retorted with a low blow regarding her father’s ineptitude at making enough decent money to buy her better clothing rather than something off a discount rack and how Tavi was never even considered for heir like her father was. Of course the object of their fight was enjoying this far too much, he had two chicks fighting over him one scarcely dressed. He was tempted to teleport Pyrrah’s dress somewhere to even the score but thought better of it. Slide 18: Even Fox thought it was awesome, all they needed was some mud and a pit to make this even better… Slide 19: Aiden: Atta girl!! Get her!! Fox: Which girl? Aiden: Does it matter? Oh look the nails are coming out!! Mee-yow!! Fox: Sweeetttt… Slide 20: Pyrrah: Take that you spoiled little bitch!! Don’t mess with me. Psyche: By the gods!! If you’ve torn my $300 lingerie I’ll murder you. Pyrrah: I want you out of our house, and take your man whore with you. I never want to see your faces again. Psyche: As if!! I pay a quarter of the rent here!! Pyrrah: You pay for nothing, Uncle Marc does. She had no come back for that; because it was embarrassingly true. Slide 21: The next morning after several phone calls to their parents, the girls were forced to reach an agreement: Psyche would finish the year in the house then she would be leaving. Marc Antony wanted her to stay and work it out with Pyrrah, Tavi told Pyrrah the same thing. Their family enemy is still out there and fracturing their bonds would only help Dalen to destroy them. The girls fought their father’s decisions, they refused to remain under the same roof together a minute longer. Their fathers wouldn’t hear of it, they stood by their decisions and Julius had agreed with his brothers. The girls would only have to remain under the same roof until Junior year. That was only one more semester, but it would be a long semester for them. Slide 22: Pyrrah: You know what? I don’t give a damn about what our dads said; I’ll never forgive you, ever. If Dalen ever does get close enough to kill us, I’ll shove you in front of me. You’re a spoiled little bitch who has never had a real friend in your entire pathetic life!! And one day you’ll realize that all your money will never buy you happiness. You’ll never know what it’s like to be truly loved… Psyche had never been talked to like that before, it was shocking and painfully true. Pyrrah had hit a nerve with her was it really that obvious? Did no one like her for her, was it only because of her money? Slide 23: Psyche: How the hell would you know? You never took your nose out of a damn book long enough to notice anything!! I have friends, loads of friends!! It was weak, and lacking the same pointed edge of Pyrrah’s words but it was all she could think of to fire back with. She was ashamed to admit that she wasn’t as smart as Pyrrah but she’d never tell her that. Pyrrah: You really are sad cousin…I pity you. Slide 24: Penelope closed her eyes, seeing her sister and cousin at war was exactly what Dalen needed to exploit the cracks in the family bonds. Orpheus tried to relieve the tension by distracting Psyche with a game of Punch You, Punch Me. The two of them hated seeing them fight but also refused to take sides. To them the real problem was Aiden, he was the cancer that was eating away at their sister and cousin, dividing them. Penelope never liked him, he felt wrong to her for some reason; but her twin loved him and wouldn’t listen to her concerns it hurt her that Pyrrah wouldn’t hear her out. Orpheus tried to remain out of his female relatives’ love lives, it would only land him in trouble. But he also didn’t like Aiden, like Penelope he felt something off about him. Slide 25: The distraction didn’t work for long, the two of them must have looked at each other the wrong way because they began to fight again. If it was Aiden’s intention to divide their family, it was working all too well. Junior year couldn’t come fast enough for them at this rate. Slide 26: Psyche: Revenge is a bitch isn’t it cousin? Pyrrah: I suppose you would know wouldn’t you? Orpheus: Do you have to keep doing this? Can’t we manage to make it through the semester in peace? Penelope: Please? Try to tolerate one another for us? The murmured replies of agreement were about all they were going to get from them. Slide 27: It seemed that the break up drama wasn’t only limited to the main line and the spares. Eddie’s daughters Amelia and Aurora found out the hard way that they were being played by Fox Winston, the other llama mascot. Both sisters loved him, and both sisters were in the same area when he decided to show Aurora how much he cared by leaping into her arms while Amelia was watching. Adele, the oldest quad made it her duty to reconcile her sisters’ dispute, while Aliya just cried. She was the most sensitive of the six and hated to see her beloved sisters fighting. Slide 28: Adele: Fox, leave. You’ve done enough here today. I need to talk to my sisters. Fox: But… Adele: Leave!! Now!! You walking flea trap!! Fox yelped under her tone and took off quickly. Slide 29: Amanda stood with Adele and her solution; she watched over them as they talked it out. She knew how much it hurt to see someone you love in the arms of another, rumours spread, people talk. It didn’t take long for news of the fight Psyche and Pyrrah had over Aiden to reach her. At least she still had Bliss to turn to… Slide 30: Aurora: ‘Meles, please don’t let some guy come between us. If I had known you were with him I’d never have accepted that flirt, you’re more important to me than some guy. We’re family. Amelia: I know, and I don’t blame you for it. I blame him. He’s been spending too much time with that five timer Aiden and he obviously doesn’t care how it makes us feel to be betrayed and used like that. Slide 31: Aurora: So you forgive me? Amelia: Yes big sis, I do. I understand that we’re both trying to help mama fulfill her life’s dream to see us all get married before she…goes. Aurora: Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. There’s got to be nice guys out there who won’t be slime bags like Fox that we can marry right? Amelia: Right. Slide 32: Amelia: And if he tries to come crawling back to us we’ll kick him in the gerbits won’t we big sis? Aurora: Yep, at the same time. Amelia: With the soccer cleats. Aurora laughed; she loved her baby sister’s sense of humour. Slide 33: Even Andrew, the only boy of Eddie and Cleo’s had found someone he could see being with. He was a Romance life pather like Aiden was but he didn’t cheat, or lie. He loved Penelope a lot. Andrew couldn’t imagine ever hurting her like Fox did to his sisters, it broke his heart to even think it. Slide 34: To try to lighten the mood around the Sharpe household, Andrew suggested a rousing water balloon fight for everyone. It was late summer and it was still quite hot out, and it seemed everyone could use some fun… Slide 35: No one seemed to mind that the water balloon fight went on after the sun went down and it got colder out, it was just fun for them to be together and laugh. Slide 36: Andrew: You call that a throw Liya? You couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn!! Aliya: Bratty baby brother!! Next one is headed right for your head!! Slide 37: Penelope: I’d watch what you say there, what goes around comes around Andy!! Andrew: Ganging up on the only guy here? That’s so not fair!! Penelope: All’s fair in love and water balloon war Andy!! She launched the green balloon right for him at the same time as Aliya’s red one, one of the two had to hit him. Slide 38: Amanda: I’d take your own advice blondie!! HEAD’S UP!! Amanda took advantage of the distracted Pen and threw what she called her Golden Bullet right on target. Slide 39: *splash* Penelope: Curses!! I asked for that. Aurora: Oh not the dress!! Adele: Gotcha!! Always check your 3 and 9 sister!! Slide 40: Aurora: Aww No fair!! Double edged attack!! Andrew: She warned you, check your 3 and 9. I’m your 3. Slide 41: After their water balloon fight, the siblings all went about to do their own thing. Aliya had been thinking about what had happened today with her sisters and Fox and it made her wonder about her old high school flame Derek Vijayaker. He should have come to college too, she looked through the campus phone directory and she found him. Slide 42: As it turned out, he too had been missing her so he was more than happy to come see her. It didn’t take much to rekindle their love, at least one of Cleo’s kids would have no problem getting married. Slide 43: She filled him in on what had happened recently with her family and he told her about life in the dorms with the other recipients of the college NPC/Townie scholarships and recent tragic death of Christy Midlock in her dorm room. And well one thing led to another… Slide 44: It was a wonderful reunion of old high school flames that night. ****** Slide 45: Bliss: And I heard that he showed no remorse or shame for what he did either. Pandora: Well at least Aiden got caught, never met him myself but he doesn’t sound like anyone I’d want to know. ‘Course I also wanna kill the son of a bitch for hurting my cousins but meh, can’t always get everything you want. Bliss: So, did ya miss me? Pandora: Of course Fly Boy, you’re kinda hard to get out of mind. Slide 46: Bliss: I’m glad Dora, I think about you all the time and what we have to do after college. Pandora sighed and nuzzled her nose against his neck, he always smelled so good like musk and sandalwood. She had been thinking about that also, what were they going to do? Pandora: I’ve been thinking too, did you tell your dad about me? It was his turn to sigh, he hadn’t yet. It was still something he was trying to work out. Bliss: Unfortunately, not yet. But I will, trust me. I just need to figure out how. Slide 47: Bliss dipped her back and kissed her, after college was too far off to be thinking about now. All he wanted to do was be in the now, enjoy her and her love while he still could. It would have been nice if the cheerleader didn’t pick that particular time to Vo Gerbit him…Maria did that a lot. He kept the doors locked for that reason. Slide 48: Bliss: Don’t look so worried, I will tell dad about you I promised I would. Pandora: I know, but I can’t help it. If I’m heiress that’ll complicate things between us, I’ll age you won’t. I’ll never be able to marry you or see you that often. Bliss: I’ll always be there, just call me and I’ll fly over and sweep you off your feet. My obligations won’t monopolize all my time, I assure you. ****** Slide 49: Not all the members of generation five were having lover troubles, for Perseus, the youngest of the main line, his troubles were far more deep than that of love. His day time napping was not as restorative as it should have been. Recently his dreams have been invaded by a voice, one he had never heard before. Every time he would get close enough to ask who it was, his alarm for class would wake him up and he’d lose it for another day. Also he had developed a weird habit of sleeping with his eyes open, the cool mists of the coffin soothed his often reddened and sore eyes. Slide 50: Perseus… Who was that? And why wouldn’t he leave him alone to rest? Why did he bother him every day? Then there was a sudden, bright flash of white; Slide 51: Perseus…the time is right, come… Slide 52: When the white flash cleared he found himself seated in a strange place, there was no sound, no traffic, no voices, it was silent. Then he heard the voice again: Perseus, over here. Slide 53: Perseus: So, it was you who wouldn’t let me rest. Why? Who are you? He smiled; he was just like he was at that age, curious and full of questions. Slide 54: Perseus: So? Are you going to tell me or not? Diamos: I didn’t think you would figure it out alone, after all you never knew me. I’m Diamos, and I was once the God of Peace. Perseus was dumbstruck; he was the one they were trying to restore…but where was this place, and how can he be here in front of him right now? Slide 55: Perseus: Okay, so if you’re the God of Peace and you’re actually alive then why the hell are we still doing this Quest to restore your powers? Diamos: Maybe you should sit back down, this is gonna take a while to talk about. Slide 56: Diamos: Perseus, I’m not alive but I’m also not dead. Perseus: Okay, not dead not alive; so what are you? A phantom? Diamos: Well, kinda I suppose. I have physical form but no substance. Perseus: I don’t get it. Diamos: This is another plane of existence; some call it the Astral Realm one only you can reach once your conscious mind shuts down while you rest. You have my blood and my power within you but it’s not strong enough to manifest in the Living Realm yet. Slide 57: Perseus: What does that mean? Diamos raised an eyebrow; did he really not know? Diamos: You are a vampire and a warlock, like I was. Are you telling me you have no idea how powerful you are? Perseus: Apparently. So you going to explain it or not? Diamos: You have my great grandson’s impatience, I see Oliver coming out in you. Slide 58: Diamos: I can see the Living Realm from here but I can’t interact with it. The only way I can is through you, your powers as a warlock and vampire as well as being my descendant makes you the perfect candidate. Slide 59: Perseus: So why have you been trying to reach me? And why now? Diamos: My twin brother, Dalen. I see the path he’s headed down and you need to stop it before it’s too late. Perseus: If you’ve been watching us then you’d know Dalen’s been trying to KILL us for five generations now. Why should I bother trying to save the enemy of my family? Slide 60: Diamos: Dalen is not as evil as he’s been acting lately; he’s always been susceptible to outside forces of evil and darkness. Talia knows this and I’d tell her off for pushing him over the edge if I could. Perseus: I don’t understand you; are you blind? He’s a psycho!! Slide 61: Perseus: If this is what you wanted me for then send me back, I’ve got better things to do rather than waste effort on a lost cause like Dalen. Diamos: I can’t believe that; you are not the type to let something like this go unchecked. You’re thorough in your ways of investigating a mystery or problem. Perseus: You don’t know a thing about me. You were gone long before I was a glimmer in my parents’ eyes. Slide 62: Diamos: You’re wrong about that; I’ve watched you and your family a long time from here. I know that you will want to look into this. Perseus: Okay, say I buy that spiel and you do think you know me; what am I supposed to investigate that’s of such grave importance? Slide 63: Diamos: Our old friend Peredwyn sensed something was wrong long before you entered high school; he and Arwyn came back from Elvendia to figure it out. They need to reclaim Drinn so he can’t be used against your family, he is the key. Perseus: How so? Slide 64: Diamos: I can’t believe you guys are so in the dark about this. What the hell has Reias been doing down there? Okay, here’s what you have to do when you get back to the Living Realm; call Reias over and smack him in the head once for me then ask him about Araka and Ares. And about the time Dalen lost control of his powers and nearly destroyed Elvendia in the process. Slide 65: Perseus: So you’re saying Dalen’s not entirely acting like an arrogant ass on a power trip because he’s nuts but because something is manipulating him? Diamos: You sure act and talk different here than you do down there, you’re almost confident. But yes, that is basically it. Perseus: Maybe because my unconscious mind is more outgoing than my conscious one. So what do I do if Reias won’t tell me about Araka and Ares? Diamos: He will; he knows why Peredwyn is back on Earth and tell him I told you. Perseus: And if he still doesn’t buy that? Diamos: I know him better than you; you say that name to him and he’ll know. It’s time for you to go, sunset is just arriving. Slide 66: Once he sent Perseus back; Diamos let his façade fall. Maybe he did have a point and Dalen wasn’t worth saving, that he had become a complete stranger now; a far cry from the twin he once knew. Was he wasting his time trying to save him? Slide 67: Helen: That’s nuts; why would we want to do that? Paris: And this is why you’ve been looking like Death wormed over lately? This Diamos guy was keeping you up? Pandora: Save the family’s enemy? Perseus: Yeah, it weirded me out but…maybe he’s right about Dalen. Slide 68: Paris: I’d let Dalen destroy himself. What do we owe him anyway? Helen: Paris, doesn’t everyone deserve a chance at redemption? Paris: No, not him. He tried to kill us by eliminating great grandma Hestia. Pandora: Shouldn’t we be telling dad and our uncles about this encounter? He is the current patriarch. Slide 69: Perseus: You know how dad is; he’d freak out if he knew we wanted to try to save Dalen. We’re the next generation this should be our responsibility. Pandora: Yeah…but Dalen’s a god and an Olympian. We’re expendable mortals. Perseus: Protected mortals; and we have godly blood in us too. I had to tell you guys about it…because I don’t think I can do this alone. I need you three to support me. Slide 70: Pandora: Of course we will; you know that little bro. Right guys? Paris: I suppose; I mean what are family for? Helen nodded; she thought about Drinn and what Perseus said about him being key, what did that mean exactly? She couldn’t let this Peredwyn guy take him away from her… Slide 71: Helen: Man, all this heavy stuff is wearing me down. Why don’t we all go out? Paris: What? Now? It’s after midnight. Helen: Paris, you wet blanket we’re in college we don’t have curfews or parents to sneak past; and besides you don’t want Perseus to fry in the sun do you? Pandora: Where to? Helen smirked; “Well I’ve had a want to win a dance contest for a while now, so why not the Dance Hobby lot? Slide 72: Perseus: That actually sounds fun; let’s go. Paris: Guess I’m out voted then. Fine, let’s go. Slide 73: The Dance Hobby lot was actually open; which was a little strange. But then again so was the hobby leader Noelle Dennis. Perseus had to sit out this one, the contest only had four people allowed at once. He was happy to wait for the next one. Slide 74: Pandora chose to go with the Slap Dance a time honoured Reed family tradition passed down from Dion to them, Helen chose the famous Smustle while Paris got distracted talking to Botan. Perseus was surprised to see Steph out after dark though. Slide 75: Steph: Heard this yet? Hudson Russell got fired!! Perseus: Uh huh, and who’s Hudson Russell again? Steph: Duh!! You parents’ placeholder from college, the former llama mascot. Perseus: Oh right, now I remember. Slide 76: Steph: But other than that, what’s new with you? Perseus held off telling her about his Astral Realm encounter with Diamos until he and his siblings figured out what to do first, but he was glad to have her distract him from his problem. Perseus: Nothing, we moved to a new lot the other was doing weird stuff, but we ran out of money renovating and building the new Greek House. What are you doing out after dark, won’t you wilt or something? Steph: I’m a townie right now, no need depletion. You’re so cute worrying about me. Slide 77: Perseus: We’re the original odd couple aren’t we? I’m UV intolerant and you’re UV dependent. I live for the night, you live for the day. Steph: That’s why we’re so perfect Percy; we’re so opposites. Slide 78: Perseus glanced over her shoulder; what was his teacher doing here? Prof. Serena: You two timer!! Perseus: OWW!! What the hell??!! Noelle: Hehe, you’re a Drama major aren’t you? End of Entry Twenty-Six. Slide 79: I totally forgot about that Drama professor glitch; poor Perseus…but it was funny. ^_^ Slide 80: Wow, 80 slides a new record for me. Well you can’t say Sophomore year wasn’t interesting for generation five can you? I’ll leave on this pic of me adding to the Haunted Campus cemetery ghost colour collection. I so totally did not knock off Alon Livingston because he was in love with Pandora, who by the way is winning my heir poll as of now. *shifty* *nervouslaugh* You do not have the permission to view this presentation. *shifty* *nervouslaugh*
