Slide 1: 

The Quest for Peace: Chapter 15, The Flow of Life

Slide 2: 

Last time we saw Aiden, he was being taken away on his teen birthday by his father Dalen leaving his mother Mokosh heartbroken. But with some encouragement from her father Poseidon they vowed to not let Dalen carry out his evil plans for Aiden. As any newly teened kid wanted, he wished to have his First Kiss, and the well thought that Amanda Sharpe here would be the best match for him. If you remember, Amanda here is one of Eddie’s Quad girls.

Slide 3: 

It also came time for Aiden’s younger siblings to join him in teen hood. Hope and Jason were getting ready to join their older brother in carrying out Dalen’s plan to get rid of the other Olympian gods. Hope’s power allowed her to take the godhoods and immortality of the Olympians by merely touching them, her twin brother got a much more subdued power, he was Post Cognitive. Hope: Alright I’m ready to train daddy!! Jason: What do you have planned for me? Dalen: I haven’t figured that out yet.

Slide 4: 

Jason’s ability to see the past was of no use to Dalen, why would he need to see the past when it was the future he was more concerned about? So Jason was left to his own devices while Dalen began training Hope and Aiden. He also chose the life path of Family which also had no purpose to Dalen. Jason: I didn’t know the well had the power to send me you. Clotho: I remember weaving your life thread Young God…it was not a pleasant thing to do. I— She froze, something in the air made her hair stand on end. Jason stared at her, she didn’t look right. Clotho: It cannot be… Jason: What is it? What’s wrong?

Slide 5: 

“For a life unwillingly returned, another must forcibly be taken…”

Slide 6: 

“The son not meant to be, must be reclaimed in order for balance to be maintained…”

Slide 7: 

Clotho covered her mouth in shock and horror as she watched her newly beloved struck down by Zeus. She knew his life thread would be short, when she wove it, it was wrought with heartache and hardship. He had gone about his life virtually unnoticed by his father and he never knew his mother. She had not anticipated that she would ever get to know him, or any of the mortals and gods whose life threads she wove. The first part of Zeus’s divine punishment of Dalen for his crimes of time tampering was to take away the child whose power was rooted in time itself, the son not meant to be…

Slide 8: 

Clotho: Why? Why him? He was innocent… Grim: Young Weaver of Fate, you above all must know how short this one’s life was meant to be, why do you grieve? Clotho: I may be a goddess, but I did care for this young god. For the first time in centuries, I actually cared. Grim: Even so, his life was only meant to last this long a mere 14 years.

Slide 9: 

It was never meant to be taken lightly, the punishment for time tampering was severe and it was about time that Dalen learned that he would not get away with it. Zeus decreed that the son not meant to be would be reclaimed in order for Jonah’s soul to remain on this plane of existence. *******

Slide 10: 

Meanwhile, on the main lot… Julius: Dad? Dion: Yes? Julius: How do you deal with it? Dion: With what son? Julius: Living with the fear of divine retribution at any time, how do you manage not to go like, insane with paranoia. Dion: It’s always on my mind Julius, I just don’t let it control my life.

Slide 11: 

Julius: How though? I can’t stop thinking about it. Dion: I have faith Julius, faith that our family line will not be so easily wiped out by an angry god. We have protection from such a thing. Julius: Yeah but it didn’t really help your grandfather and parents did it? Dion: I know, but I’m still here. So it can’t have been a bad thing. Julius: But you won’t be forever, what will I do when you’re gone?

Slide 12: 

Dion: If I didn’t believe you could do a good job as my heir, I wouldn’t have chosen you. Julius: I know, and I respect that, it’s just that I wonder if Marc Antony would have been better you know? He’s the oldest. Dion: Son, all of you have potential. I just wanted to give you something that would really test your resolve. Heirship was that test and I believe you’re doing just fine. You have a wonderful wife, a beautiful daughter and you have another baby on the way, you’re doing just fine. Hang in there.

Slide 13: 

Julius: You’re right dad, I should be able to do the job you gave me. I’ll do my best to make sure this quest succeeds. Dion: I know, that’s why I chose you. You have the will to succeed you just needed a true test of your ability to prove it to yourself. Julius: Thanks dad, hey look, I got another bite!! Dion smiled, all he really needed was a pep talk. Julius was a fine heir, truly amazing. He only needed to see that for himself. If his mother could see him now, she would be so proud of her grandson.

Slide 14: 

It wasn’t long before they heard Marsha yelling from the living room, the next member of generation five was about to make an appearance. Julius: You alright baby? Marsha: OWWW!!! Julius: Guess not, umm…breathe? Marsha: *inaudible grumblings* Dion: Just watch and wait son, it’s what we do. Julius: Totally. And just because the game hates me, I get the pop-up: There’s TWO new babies in the family…

Slide 15: 

Marsha: Here, hold this one for a sec. Julius: Umm, babe? Why? Marsha: Just do it!!

Slide 16: 

Julius: Oh, that’s why. Marsha: One more time, just hold this one. Julius: What??

Slide 17: 

Why me? Once again the Triplets/Quad hack kicks in and I have three. Two boys and a girl. The boys are named Paris and Perseus, Paris was the young Trojan prince who kidnapped Helen from King Agamemnon and started the Trojan War. Perseus is named after the half god son of Zeus who, as soon as he was born was placed inside a gold coffin with his dead mother and thrown into the sea. And the girl is named Helen, after of course, Helen of Troy. The face that launched a thousand ships to Troy.

Slide 18: 

Hehe, glitch faces are funny. This was Julius’s reaction after Marsha gave birth to triplets. He stuck that way for the entire birth. ^_^!!

Slide 19: 

And next we visit Tavi’s house where he too has added to generation five. This is his newest baby, a baby boy named Orpheus. I shouldn’t have to review who Orpheus is because Oliver’s uncle was also called Orpheus. And I like the name too, though here I can use the myth of Orpheus being trained by Apollo.

Slide 20: 

Aww, and he looks exactly like his father at that age with blond hair. He’s adorabubble. ^_^!! You’ll see more of Julius’s triplets later on. Orpheus Thayer: Cancer 9/4/8/7/6

Slide 21: 

But first, some Pandora spam before she grows up: Poor Dakota…and I do wish she had shown me her face when she did this, it would have been so much cuter if she had.

Slide 22: 

Maddie glanced around at everyone who had shown up for Pandora’s birthday. Her whole family was here, save for her other grandchildren and for once in a long time she had everyone together again.

Slide 23: 

Botan and Pellas were still getting the hang of a human birthday party, their master told them that it was part of the tradition to blow party horns for the one whose birthday it was. Although Reias would not have told them to blow it so close the poor child. Maddie: Are you ready to be a big girl Pandora? Pandora: Pandora scared!!! Maddie: Don’t worry sweetheart, it’s okay. Pandora: *chin quiver*

Slide 24: 

Maddie: See? It’s alright. Now watch as grandma blows out the candles. Pandora: Pwetty flame… Julius: Don’t touch it little dudette, major ouchies.

Slide 25: 

Maddie stepped aside as Pandora prepared to make her transition into childhood, everyone cheered and clapped for the little one.

Slide 26: 

Pandora: Hey!! Where is everyone? Mommy? Daddy? Grandma? The allure of the smustle was apparently too much to resist and the adults all fell prey to it before she even finished growing up. But now that she was, she could finally talk to the big people and there was someone in particular she wanted to talk to first.

Slide 27: 

Pandora: Why are you all white lady? Pellas: I am an Adriel young maiden. I reflect the type of Adriel which I represent. Pandora: What’s an Adriel? Pellas: A weapon. Pandora: Are you dangerous then? Daddy says weapons are uncool and tools of the oppressors. Pellas: I do not understand. Pandora: Are you uncool? Pellas: …. Dion: Pandora honey, don’t bother Pellas.

Slide 28: 

Pandora: You glow, like Uncle Tavi. Why? Solan: I’m a warlock. It’s what we do. Pandora: What’s a warlock? Solan: A male witch. Pandora: So do you fly around on a broomstick and cackle? Solan: I use a broom, yes but I don’t cackle. I’m not an evil warlock. Pandora: Can I see some magic? Or your broom? Ooh!! Can I fly on your broom?? Solan: Umm…

Slide 29: 

Pandora: Uncle Marc? Why don’t you glow like Uncle Tavi or the blond guy? Marc Antony: I’m Fortune, I don’t want weird powers. Pandora: So what do you want? Marc Antony: You’re sure full of questions aren’t you squirt? Pandora: Yeah but what do you want? Marc Antony: Money and fame. Pandora: Oh.

Slide 30: 

Most of generation five were fairly close in age so after Pandora’s party her cousin Psyche was close on her heels. Marc Antony and Amy didn’t want a huge party for their little princess, all they wanted was small gathering at home with the family. It didn’t sit too well with Maddie or Dion but they respected their oldest son’s wishes to have a small family party.

Slide 31: 

Marc Antony watched as his little princess began her transition, she was growing so fast it was like time just flew by. He was afraid that he had missed some of her precious toddler years following his lead on the mysterious Omega who sent him that IM the day she was born, and so far every lead was a dead end. He had meant to go the Temple of Athena just to stake out the place in hopes of spotting someone who might be Omega but things got in the way and he forgot. And so far there had been no more contact with Omega since then.

Slide 32: 

His little princess grew up beautifully and discovered the thrill of dancing. He taught her and Amy the steps to the Slap Dance that he had learned from Dion so long ago at her age and she loved it. Her natural hobby was Music and Dance, which suited her just fine. It was a great way for her to have some fun after being at school and before homework.

Slide 33: 

Pyrrah and Penelope grew up just as well, though being identical twins it was hard to tell them apart sometimes. Even their own parents had difficulties. Penelope liked having longer hair while Pyrrah preferred the short, cropped look. The older members of generation five were growing up so fast, there was no stopping them. Tavi wanted to head into town to buy his girls some new outfits for their birthday and some for Orpheus too his birthday was coming up soon as well.

Slide 34: 

Tavi: Hey, I don’t suppose that you’re a witch are you? I can get the sense of power coming from you. Batalia: Oh? And why would you ask? Tavi: I just wanted to know, I don’t know many other witches and warlocks like myself around here. Batalia: Well it’s not a common thing that’s for sure.

Slide 35: 

Tavi had no idea he was talking to the one who wanted to kill off his entire family, to him she was another witch, one like him. Batalia was well aware of who he was, he was one of Dion’s wretched spawn. The power of Diamos practically screamed at her from beneath the aura of the good warlock, if he ever figured out that his white warlock power was the key to unlocking some of the power of Diamos…

Slide 36: 

But now was not the time, nor the place to cause a fight. It was in times of distress that his power would activate, like a self defence mechanism. Batalia: Well I’ll tell you this, our kid do not associate with your kind. I belong to the Dark Side while you wallow in the Light. Tavi: I’ve never met a follower of the Dark Side before. Batalia: Pray that you never do. We do not play well together, savvy?

Slide 37: 

Batalia headed out to leave, but Tavi followed her. If he kept this up he was going to get it. Tavi: Wait!! There’s so much I want to know!! Batalia: What part of we don’t play well with your kind did you not understand? Tavi: I just think that there has to be some sort of middle ground where we can meet each other halfway. Batalia: Well there isn’t. That’s what the Neutrals are for, they are the middle ground. Now sod off!! She held back on calling him mortal, that would be a dead giveaway.

Slide 38: 

He remained, now it was getting very hard not to zap him and take off while he lay there dying. Dalen was not ready to take on the legacy just yet, Hope and Aiden were still too upset over Jason’s death to be of any use to him right now. Batalia: I have places to go now SOD OFF!! Tavi: Oh, well I’m sorry to of kept you.

Slide 39: 

Batalia had an agenda to keep, there was someone she was really looking forward to meeting. An old flame, a VERY old flame of hers had suddenly reappeared on the radar. She had figured he was long dead by now, but here he stood, in this time… Batalia: Well now isn’t this a shock. I thought you were dead. Autolycus: Now did you really think that a little thing like time could keep me from you? Batalia: I was going to visit you there was just some things I had to do first.

Slide 40: 

Autolycus: I suppose I could have been patient, but when that kid showed up and brought us here I figured why not? Batalia: What kid? Autolycus: That kid with the white hair, said he was from the future or something. Batalia: Jason? Autolycus: Yeah that was it, I knew his name was familiar somehow.

Slide 41: 

For the moment, Batalia put aside the news of Jason traveling to the past and focused instead on her lover. She had missed him, and the time she spent with him. Of all the mortals, he was her favourite. This mortal was one she actually loved. Dalen never agreed with her choice in lovers, he called it a waste of her time but she knew he was just jealous that he wasn’t the only one who had her affections.

Slide 42: 

She wanted to be with him and Dalen be damned if he didn’t like it. However if he was here then it made her wonder who else Jason had retrieved from the past… ******

Slide 43: 

Lilly: OWW!!!!OOOHHH!! LIAM!! Liam had just arrived home from work when he heard his wife calling for him. He rushed inside, this was something he didn’t want to miss. Liam: I’m here honey!! I’m right here!!

Slide 44: 

Lilly: Is it supposed to hurt this much? Liam: Umm, I don’t know I think so. I mean I watched my mom do it when Solan was born. Lilly: OHHH!!

Slide 45: 

Lilly: Here, hold your new son. Liam: My son? Wow…I have a son. Lilly: Just for a sec… Liam: Honey?

Slide 46: 

Liam: Another one? Oh wow, this is a great day!! Lilly: Umm… Liam: Oh no, what?

Slide 47: 

I truly am cursed. >_< Liam: Wow!! Triplets!! I can’t believe our luck!! Lilly: Yes, triplets. And you can put away that Have 10 kids want cuz it AIN’T happening buster. Liam and Lilly had two girls and a boy, Lyssa, Leiya and Alex. I am going to have so much fun in college with 20 teens to get through. If you remember there’s four in the main legacy line, and four in the spares line, six from Eddie, three from Solan, two from Koko, and two from Dalen and Mo. Well that’s 21 actually…but my point remains. Needless to say, generation five is gonna be a long, long, generation with that many teens to play through college.

Slide 48: 

Meanwhile… Marc Antony: This isn’t the Temple of Athena I had in mind, I thought you meant the Parthenon. Omega: Well you found one, this just isn’t the main temple. I am surprised you actually came to meet me, I was sure you’d forgotten about your search for the history of Hidden City.

Slide 49: 

Marc Antony: I went over this before! I’m not giving up so I expect some answers. This has been a quest of mine ever since my daughter was born, I missed her birth because of this!! Omega: The history of Hidden City is something we’ve tried to keep secret for decades, I should have known better than to underestimate your determination mortal. Marc Antony: Our history is what we use to build the foundation for the future, what gives you gods the right to take that away from us?

Slide 50: 

Omega: We did it to protect you, it was in your best interests. Marc Antony: You’ll forgive me if that doesn’t help. How dare you. Omega: We’ve made mistakes, I admit that but it really was for the best at the time. Marc Antony: Well it sure as hell doesn’t do a damn bit of good now does it? My family is constantly afraid of being killed off by Dalen, if there’s something in the past that can help us protect ourselves then we have a right to find out.

Slide 51: 

Omega: I am what they call an Oracle of the Past, I only see what has passed. I don’t see what is to come. There was no way I could have foreseen this complication. Marc Antony: Well now it’s the present, not the past. So are you going to tell me or not? Omega: What do you want to know first? Marc Antony: What happened after the eruption of Mt Etna? Omega: There was only a brief period of recovery before we were thrown into yet another disaster. We called it the Battle of Amber Dawn. Marc Antony: What was the Battle of Amber Dawn? Omega: A war with forces of nature herself, led by an evil primordial god named Dahak. Marc Antony: Dahak? Omega: A god older than the Titans, it was also called Chaos and it was a force of destruction.

Slide 52: 

Marc Antony: Older than the Titans? What were the reports of figures made of nothing but the elements all about? Omega: They…they were friends of ours, good friends. They were peaceful alien gods who were living here on Earth with us until Dahak turned them into the primal forces of the elements. Marc Antony: Alien gods? Omega: Yes, they were from a planet called Elvendia. Marc Antony: How do I know this is the truth? Omega: I don’t lie about the past. Marc Antony: But you lied about your real name, Omega is not a name. Omega: It was necessary at the time. Marc Antony: What is your real name? Omega: Ashika, I am a daughter of Athena. Marc Antony: That would make sense, now I understand why you see the past so well. Ashika: I risked a lot by telling you this Marc Antony, what will you do now that you know?

Slide 53: 

Marc Antony: I intend to make this knowledge public. The people of Hidden City need to know what really happened 30 years ago. Ashika: I would almost think you were serious there. Marc Antony: I am. Deadly serious. Ashika: That’s what I’m afraid of. ******

Slide 54: 

Batalia: BY THE GODS!! THIS HURTS!! Batalia’s reunion with Autolycus had left her in somewhat of a predicament, her passion overwhelmed her better judgements and she ended up with a parting gift from him. She had watched others give birth before and it always looked so easy…

Slide 55: 

One thing she hadn’t counted on was Autolycus paying her a visit at the Temple of Ares. She was so happy to see him she had forgotten about Drinn. Apparently the little revenge fling that she had with him meant more to Drinn than he let on. Not that it bothered her much, she was a goddess and he was a tool with a brain. She shrugged off Drinn’s reaction and continued to see Autolycus and that led her to her current situation…

Slide 56: 

Drinn, being the fool in love that he was, still believed he could make it up to her even though it wasn’t his fault to begin with. He cheered for the birth of her daughter. Batalia: This changes nothing Drinn, you’re still a tool to be used as we see fit. Dalen: And the last thing I need is my weapon against the gods of Olympus to be useless to me. So get over this crush or fling, or whatever it is you think you have with my sister and focus on your mission.

Slide 57: 

Batalia: Here Jade, take her and place her in the crib for me I am rather tired from the ordeal of birthing her. Jade: Aww, she’s so cute and adorable. What’s her name? Batalia smiled; “I’m calling her Lyra. It’s a pretty name for my pretty little girl.” However, the new baby bliss was short lived. As soon as she was placed in the crib, Zeus set into motion the second half of his punishment…

Slide 58: 

“The Daughter of Destruction…must be led down the right path…”

Slide 59: 

“A grieving mother, yearning for her lost child shall be reunited; for it is through her that the Daughter of Destruction shall be cleansed.”

Slide 60: 

Like Jason and Hope, Lyra will never know her mother. She will grow up in the care of Mokosh as part of the punishment laid down by Zeus upon Dalen and Batalia. Poseidon’s passionate plea to his brother for his daughter to have a child to raise was the silver lining in the dark cloud. End of Entry Twenty-Two.
