It was first indian company to be listed in NASDAQ.Progress in Infosys: Progress in Infosys 1981-Investment of infosys with investment of US$250. 1987- Establishment of Software development Center in Bangalore, and its 1 st international office in California,US . 1988-Bagged its first major order from Reebok. 1989-Bagged its another major order from Digital Equipments . 1993 Successfully completed its IPO and its shares became one of the most popular one in stock exchange.Progress..cont…: Progress..cont… 1995-Became 5 th largest software exporter in India 1996/97-Set up its office in U.K and in Canada. 1999-Achieved annual revenues of $100 million. 2001/02-It was rated as a “BEST EMPLOYER IN INDIA” 2005/06-Crossed $1.6 Billion in annual revenues and around 50K employees.Recruitment Process: : Recruitment Process: Getting job at Infosys was considered very tough as it admitted only 1% of applicant. In 2003 out of 0.6 million applicants only 6200 were hired. In 2005 out of 1.3 million applicants only 15000 were hired.Major attrition drivers: Major attrition drivers Improper recruitment. Infosys U : In February, 2005 at the 315 acre Mysore campus of Infosys with investment of $65.4 million was one of the biggest corporate training centre in the world. The centre had 2350 rooms, 58 training rooms, 183 faculty rooms, state of the art library and a cyber café with capacity to train around 15000 fresher’s in a year.
