Slide3: Our Purpose On behalf of: We’re raising money to give to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and Special Olympics Calgary.


Slide4: Special Olympics For years, individuals with intellectual disabilities were sheltered from mainstream society. Through Special Olympics, these individuals have the opportunity to participate in various sporting activities. With this involvement, Special Olympic athletes are “winning at life”. Special Olympics provides programs for many individuals who are unable to participate in generic sport programs in the community. Special Olympics is the main source of sport activity and social involvement for many athletes.


Slide5: Alberta Children’s Hospital Nicholas was born with a rare heart defect. But nobody knew. At 6 weeks he was referred to the Alberta Children’s Hospital after a heart murmur was discovered. He was operated on at 7 weeks of age to repair a Coarctation of his aorta. Nicholas has regular checkups with his cardiologist at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. He continues to be a healthy four year old, and his family and friends are grateful for the care and expertise available at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.


Slide6: Please consider… “Energy Fore Friends” is an organization that is hosting our third annual golf tournament targeting the Energy Sector to give back to the community that supports us. We are inviting many individuals involved in the energy sector. This includes: marketers, producers, pipeline companies, storage operators, power companies, and others involved in the energy service industry. Over the past 2 years, we have raised over $250,000 that was donated directly to Special Olympics Calgary and the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. Donations start at $2500 per foursome. Only 36 foursomes are available. Sponsorship starts at $1000. Sponsorship provides unique advertising, branding and customer relationship management opportunities.
