Mark. 4 33-34 :

Mark. 4 33-34 The Use of Parables

The Use of Parables :

The Use of Parables 33 With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it; 34 he did not speak to them without a parable, but privately to his own disciples he explained everything. The Holy Bible : Revised Standard Version Second Catholic edition (2006), with the ecclesiastical approval of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Thomas Nelson Publishing for Ignatius Press.

4:33-34 The Use of Parables :

4:33-34 The Use of Parables Jesus taught according to the ability of those who were listening to Him. There are two dangers that the teacher must avoid. A teacher’s duty is not to draw attention to himself but to draw attention to his subject. “The fact that a man shoots above the target only proves that he is a bad shot.” A good teacher must be in love with his subject and not in love with himself.

See Through the Learners Eyes :

See Through the Learners Eyes You must avoid a sense of superiority. The teacher who stands on a pedestal and talks down to his students will never be a successful teacher. True teaching consists in sharing and discovering together the truth. It is necessary for the teacher to remember to think and to see as the student thinks and sees, before he can really explain and communicate any kind of knowledge.
