Babylon :Babylon The Lord is shown here as a victorious warrior who saved His people.
God had acted to keep His Covenant and all the people have seen what he has done.
Notice how the Lord keeps His Covenants with His people but often His people don’t honor God by keeping His laws.
The Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes and the Sermon on the Mount give us the guidelines to follow.
At this time Israel only had the Ten Commandments, had they followed them it is certain that the Babylonian captivity wouldn’t have been necessary to restore their faith.
