Philippians 4:4-7 :Philippians 4:4-7 The Lord is near.
Slide 2:4? Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
?5? Let all men know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand.
?6? Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
?7? And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. There are plenty of things to choose from.
Unemployment
Financial problems
Terrorist attacks
Health issues
The list is almost endless isn’t it?
Fear is a natural part of human life but wouldn’t it be nice to get rid of it?
Do you want to bring peace back into your life and sleep at night? In this reading we hear Paul give us the formula by which we can restore peace and joy in our lives.

?7? And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Slide 4:If you think it was easy for Paul to say these words, keep in mind that he wrote these words of encouragement to the Philippians from his jail cell as he was awaiting execution.
These two verses were from a man who knew how to face the devils, the fears of his life without loosing faith.
As Paul said, Godcan give you a peace that goes beyond what is reasonable, that goes beyond human understanding.
He can teach you to take all of your problems, bundle them up, and give them to him.
