At one particular point the two got into an argument and one friend hit the other in the face. Slide 5: 02.08.2008 AJT 5 The one who was hit was hurt, but without any word he wrote in the sand: ‘Today my best friend hit me in my face.’ Slide 6: 02.08.2008 AJT 6 They walked on until they found an oasis where they decided to have a bath. The one who had been hit got stuck in the mud and was drowning but the friend saved him Slide 7: 02.08.2008 AJT 7 When he came to, he carved in a stone: ‘Today my best friend saved my life’ Slide 8: 02.08.2008 AJT 8 The friend who had hit his best friend then saved him asked: ‘After I hit you you wrote this in the sand and now you carved in the stone that I saved you, why did you do this?’ Slide 9: 02.08.2008 AJT 9 The other friend answered: ‘When someone hurts us we must write it in the sand where the wind of forgiveness can blow it away’ Slide 10: But if someone does a good deed for you, we have to carve it in stone where no wind can blow it away.’ Slide 11: Learn to write the hurt in the sand and carve your good experiences in stone. Slide 12: It is said that it takes only a minute to find extraordinary people, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but it takes a whole life time to forget them. Slide 13: If you wish, send this message back to your friend. It is a short message to let them know that you will never forget them Slide 14: If you don’t return this it means that you are in a hurry and that you have forgotten a good friend.
