“The Lutheran” Magazine “The Lutheran” Magazine offers congregational subscriptions at a discounted rate when the subscription price is sent by one check by the church: The rate plans for annual subscriptions are as follows: 1-9 copies:  $17.95 each 10-49 copies:  $11.75 each 50 or more copies:  $7.95 each If you are interested in receiving a copy please sign up on in Narthex on the big Green bulletin board. Checks should be made to RLC with a memo “The Lutheran.” The deadline will be: FEBRUARY 13, 2011

MICAH MINISTRIES :

MICAH MINISTRIES Many thanks for your donations of coats and sweaters for the clients being served through the Micah Ministries during January. Please continue to save your travel soaps, shampoos, and lotions along with toothbrushes and toothpaste for this ministry. They are in great need of white tube socks for men and white socks for women.

FOR THE RECORD is also used to verify voting members, to help the church office keep up with changes in addresses, and by the Outreach Team. Plus there is usually some information on the back! Take a moment and fill it in now! Thanks for your help!!

NAF (Nifty After Fifty) FEBRUARY SOCIAL The February  (late Valentine’s Day)  meeting will be lunch at Vita Felice Italian Restaurant at 12:00 noon on February 15 . It is located  at 10615 Spotsylvania Avenue in Fredericksburg, VA.  This is in the Lee’s Hill  shopping center off Highway 1 just North of the I-95 Exit 126. We will be ordering from their normal lunch menu which features at least 15 pasta dishes plus subs and pizza served with a house salad for $7.95 plus drink, tax, and tip. They will provide separate checks.

Weekly SENIORS SOCIAL GATHERINGS is on WEDNESDAYS! All Seniors are encouraged to join us for a meal at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall , followed by a lovely devotion and Communion Service.
