Water Filter Pur:

Water Filter Pur I have a 20BB Big Blue Sediment Water Filter in my home and the rubber O-ring that fits around the top of the canister is old and stretched a little, does anyone know where I could find one? I could always try and take it to home depot and find one that may work, but I’m hoping that someone might know exactly where to find the same o-ring online, I’ve searched and searched and haven’t found it. Thanks for your help.

It dispenses water fine but just the ice maker stopped making ice. Is there a way to check whether water is coming to make ice if the valve is defective or the ice maker is defective. Filtered water is coming alright cold and filtered but no ice. Any help is appreciated.

If you well is less than 200 ft. your water level could be low. and when we have alot I mean alot of rain my water is alittle muddy for a few days but clears up. Check on your foot valve 1st. And if you live in an area that has been drought striken like I have then worry about your water level

I know some websites say that Kenmore water filters are at the bottom, in the grill, but I can clearly see that mine has the water filter on the inside of the fridge, under the top. last question, are filters easy to change?? It does sound as if your filter is clogged up or it could be one of the lines, has a kink in it. If you still have the manual for your fridge, it should have instructions on how to replace the filter.
