Definitions Easton’s Bible Dictionary- lies and liars Lies-Eastons Dictionary- Lies- Lie an intentional violation of the truth. Lies are emphatically condemned in Scripture (John 8:44; 1 Tim. 1:9, 10; Rev. 21:27; 22:15). Implications : 

Implications The implications here are that like anything else lies become progressive until blindness to truth results and falsity. This is a lost and blind condition that impairs our judgement and takes us towards destruction of self and others following us over time. It is associated repeatedly with cowardice and folly over time. Jesus Christ is the truth and heals this form of blindness. The Holy Spirit within the believer sanctifies us back in to the truth and towards real agape sacrificial vs. selfish love and courage.
