Premium member Presentation Transcript The Ohio Library Support Staff Institute : The Ohio Library Support Staff Institute Grassroots, Hard Work, and a Continuing Track Record for SuccessThe Institutes Foundations: The Institutes Foundations Multi-day, In-Residence, Retreat style event All Institute needs would be met on-site Programming focuses on broadening technical skills; enhance staff members knowledge base; provide for personal development and continuing education opportunities Encourage networking and contact between library staff from all library backgrounds. Remove participants from the work environment and allow them to be recharged and reinvigorated Instruction materials and techniques can be taken home and shared with co-workers Empower library staff to think more broadly about their jobs and to utilize ALL tools that may be available to them in service to their patronsO.L.S.S.I.
