SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION SPALLATION NEUTRON SOURCE WITH PROTON POWER OVER ½ MEGAWAT IS EXPLORED CAN BE STAGED FROM 45 KW IN 4 STEPS TO 800KW FOUR FOLD SYMMETRIC FODO STRUCTURE RAPID CYCLING SYNCHROTRON WITH ADEQUATE INJECTION AND EXTRACTION SCHEME IS POSSIBLE SO FAR NO ENGINEERING DIFFICULTIES WERE UNCOVERED NOTE THAT AGS ACCELERATED OVER 1013 PROTONS WITH 200MeV INJECTION IN 50mm.mr ADMITTANCE WHAT THIS MACHINE CAN DO?
