Sustainability Week Elliot Sealy

Splitting up the groups:

Splitting up the groups The first thing that we had to do was split the groups up into teams that were suitable for each task First, Owen and Ryan, the team leaders of Elliot Sealy asked the whole house what task they wanted to do There were two umbrella groups, the e nerds, and the reality nerds, after that we split in to two team again so that there were 4 groups in total. The task, Trashion show, Mix media, Multi Media and Wikispaces group Then, based on the importance, of the task we put more people on some tasks than others due to there abilities to finish the tasks on time

research First we all had to go and research what we had to do that day we research how these topics related to sustainability We all had to fill out a word document that had to be filled out to show how we researched the topic and how we did it.

Trashion show:

Trashion show The trashion show group made two outfits that were supposed to have two distinct styles The one on Ariella that was designed by Owen, Ariella herself and Christen was mostly based off of the 1970’s Madonna look While the one that Mia had on that was designed by Terrra , was based off the futuristic Lady GaGa look

Mixed Media (Reality Nerds):

Mixed Media (Reality Nerds) The group was made up of Gabby, Maria, Juliet, Dali, Drew, and was supervised by Owen First, they researched electronic waste by watching videos They got almost all the information from the electronic waste videos Drew, Gabby, Calypso and Maria were working on a poster that describes the cycle in which electronics are used. Juliette and Dali made a house out of circuit boards and the frame of a power supply

Multi-Media (E-Nerds):

Multi-Media (E-Nerds) The Multi-media group was made up of Josh, Elijah, Sarah, Bridgett, Freddie, Andrew Caskey , Jonathan Harvey and was supervised by Ryan The first thing they did was research what sustainability and how we can present how it works to 10 year olds or the leaders of 2050. The group decided to research the life cycle of a newspaper. Then, they put the information that they found into a PowerPoint. Lastly, they made it into a short movie on Windows Movie Maker, where they also added music.

Wiki-Space:

Wiki-Space Taylor, Sarah Sparks, Katie, Krystian , and Ryan supervised. The team members each researched different things within the group Sarah researched sustainability in Barbados and Taylor researched global initiatives towards sustainability itself Next, they started putting together the pages “Global goals” and initiatives and “What is Sustainability”
