THE GREAT DECEPTION:

THE GREAT DECEPTION (Matthew 24:11)  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24:12)  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (Matthew 24:13)  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved .

1. Taken to Record:

1. Taken to Record (Acts 20:26)  Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. (Acts 20:27)  For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. (Acts 20:28)  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:29)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. (Acts 20:30)  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. (Acts 20:31)  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. (Acts 20:32)  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. (Acts 20:33)  I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. (Acts 20:34)  Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. (Acts 20:35)  I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive .

2. The Love of Many:

2. The Love of Many (1 John 2:15)  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:16)  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John 2:17)  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (1 John 2:18)  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. (1 John 2:19)  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. (1 John 2:20)  But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (1 John 2:21)  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. (1 John 2:22)  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:23)  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. (1 John 2:24)  Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father .

3. The Children of God:

3. The Children of God (1 John 3:1)  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (1 John 3:2)  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:3)  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (1 John 3:4)  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (1 John 3:5)  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. (1 John 3:6)  Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. (1 John 3:7)  Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. (1 John 3:8)  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:9)  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (1 John 3:10)  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

CONCLUSION:

CONCLUSION (1 John 2:25)  And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. (1 John 2:26)  These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. (1 John 2:27)  But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (1 John 2:28)  And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. (1 John 2:29)  If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him .
