Things that Will Not Move:

Things that Will Not Move (Acts 20:22)  And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: (Acts 20:23)  Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. (Acts 20:24)  But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

1. Moved From Your Calling:

1. Moved From Your Calling (Galatians 1:6)  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: (Galatians 1:7)  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. (Galatians 1:8)  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:9)  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:10)  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:11)  But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. (Galatians 1:12)  For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:13)  For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: (Galatians 1:14)  And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. (Galatians 1:15)  But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

2. The Invitation is For Real, Unmovable:

2. The Invitation is For Real, Unmovable (Matthew 22:5)  But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: (Matthew 22:6)  And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. (Matthew 22:7)  But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. (Matthew 22:8)  Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. (Matthew 22:9)  Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. (Matthew 22:10)  So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. (Matthew 22:11)  And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: (Matthew 22:12)  And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. (Matthew 22:13)  Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 22:14)  For many are called, but few are chosen.

3. In the Day of Death:

3. In the Day of Death (Ecclesiastes 8:4)  Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou? (Ecclesiastes 8:5)  Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment. (Ecclesiastes 8:6)  Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him. (Ecclesiastes 8:7)  For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be? (Ecclesiastes 8:8)  There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it. (Ecclesiastes 8:9)  All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt. (Ecclesiastes 8:10)  And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity. (Ecclesiastes 8:11)  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. (Ecclesiastes 8:12)  Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him: (Ecclesiastes 8:13)  But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

4. The Words of the King of Kings:

4. The Words of the King of Kings (Matthew 24:26)  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. (Matthew 24:27)  For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:28)  For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. (Matthew 24:29)  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: (Matthew 24:30)  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:31)  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:32)  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: (Matthew 24:33)  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. (Matthew 24:34)  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (Matthew 24:35)  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

5. The Power To Keep On:

5. The Power To Keep On (Romans 8:30)  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Romans 8:31)  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:32)  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:33)  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth . (Romans 8:34)  Who is he that condemneth ? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Romans 8:35)  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Romans 8:36)  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. (Romans 8:37)  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:38)  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (Romans 8:39)  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

6. The Church Triumphant:

6. The Church Triumphant (Colossians 2:6)  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: (Colossians 2:7)  Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:8)  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (Colossians 2:9)  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:10)  And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (Colossians 2:11)  In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: (Colossians 2:12)  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. (Colossians 2:13)  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; (Colossians 2:14)  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Colossians 2:15)  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it .
