Born Free:

Born Free (Acts 22:26) When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest : for this man is a Roman. (Acts 22:27) Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? He said, Yea. (Acts 22:28) And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born.

Holding Back Good Things:

Holding Back Good Things (Jeremiah 5:22) Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? (Jeremiah 5:23) But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. (Jeremiah 5:24) Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. (Jeremiah 5:25) Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. (Jeremiah 5:26) For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. (Jeremiah 5:27) As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. (Jeremiah 5:28) They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge. (Jeremiah 5:29) Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? (Jeremiah 5:30) A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; (Jeremiah 5:31) The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Generation of Vipers:

Generation of Vipers (Luke 3:7) Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? (Luke 3:8) Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. (Luke 3:9) And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (Luke 3:10) And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? (Luke 3:11) He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. (Luke 3:12) Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do? (Luke 3:13) And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you. (Luke 3:14) And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages. (Luke 3:15) And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not; (Luke 3:16) John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

Servants of Sin:

Servants of Sin (John 8:31) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; (John 8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:33) They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? (John 8:34) Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. (John 8:35) And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. (John 8:36) If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:37) I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. (John 8:38) I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. (John 8:39) They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. (John 8:40) But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

You Must Be Born Again:

You Must Be Born Again (John 3:3) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:4) Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? (John 3:5) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:7) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:8) The wind bloweth where it listeth , and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth : so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3:9) Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? (John 3:10) Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? (John 3:11) Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. (John 3:12) If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

Spirit of Adoption:

Spirit of Adoption (Romans 8:7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. (Romans 8:8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (Romans 8:10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (Romans 8:11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8:12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. (Romans 8:13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (Romans 8:14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Romans 8:16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Fighting the Good Fight:

Fighting the Good Fight (2 Timothy 4:1) I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; (2 Timothy 4:2) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. (2 Timothy 4:3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (2 Timothy 4:4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (2 Timothy 4:5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (2 Timothy 4:6) For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. (2 Timothy 4:7) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (2 Timothy 4:8) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:9) Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: (2 Timothy 4:10) For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
