Sarah, as a Linden Lab employee who has also been coming to the IA Summit for a while now, what's the intersection between IA and SL? [Lori, Josh, Beth], tell us briefly how you/your organization has been using Second Life. [Brief tour in-world is okay. A few snapshots as a backup in case of no-connection would be very good.] Questions for Panel: Questions for Panel Josh, you work with non-profits on Commonwealth Island, the sim you created. What problems have these organizations faced in working through SL? [Same question to Lori, Beth, Andrew -- What does not work well in SL? Why?] [If not already answered] Very specifically, what roles can IAs play in shaping, building, and using Web 3-D environments? [If not already answered] What do we need to think about so we can make recommendations to our clients on integrating Web 3-D into their enterprises? Questions for Panel: Questions for Panel What design principles are there that make socially-mediated information transfer 'better' (and what does better mean?) Measurement: What are the analogies to counting visitors to a website, say or their path through a website and how do you actually measure the analagous things in SL Slide15: Second Life Library 2.0 Second Life Library 2.0 Slide16: Presentation at Second Life Library (2006) Slide17: Info Architecture isle Info Architecture isle Slide18: Commonwealth Island Commonwealth Island Slide19: TechSoup TechSoup Slide20: Slide21: Stacy Surla / Stacy Narayan stacy@greenfx.net You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
