Come for the Fun…:

Come for the Fun… Swim, snorkel, explore, laugh, sing, dance and delight…wait, did I hear snorkel? Yes!!! We will snorkel at some of the best spots on the Big Island, so it’s important that you bring your gear (snorkel, mask and fins). It you haven’t had the opportunity to snorkel before now, it’s easy to learn. We require that you take a lesson before dipping your new fins into the water off the shores of the Big Island…the best news is that you can do that here at home so you’re ready to go when you hit Hawaii. Two places to consider taking a lesson: 1. Aqua Sport Scuba Center #101, 3411 – 20th Street SW 686-6166 $25 per person 1 to 1 ½ hours per lesson They will provide lessons based on demand. Next scheduled lesson is Sat, March 24th @ 5:30pm 2. The Dive Shop 4652 McLeod Trail SW 243-4616 $25 per person 1 ½ to 2 hours per lesson Lessons are scheduled once a week every week, but the day of the week and time of day changes.

Come for the Beauty…:

Come for the Beauty… It is sure to take your breath away…

Come for the Beauty…:

Come for the Beauty… …and you’ll find it at unexpected times and places...

Come for the Dolphins…:

Come for the Dolphins… Enjoy the most unique and authentic way to swim with wild dolphins anywhere on the Hawaiian Islands! Dolphin encounters can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. And remember, your life can change forever with a one second glance into the eye of a dolphin! This is a magical underwater experience…it’s a dream come true. Who takes us? Phillipa, one of Hawaii's most experienced dolphin experts, guides us aboard a private boat, with our own skipper and crew, for this unique experience (and, yes, the boat has a head). We will be escorted to the best dolphin swim locations Hawaii has to offer. . Phillipa is a wonderful guide who caters to all of our needs and skill levels. Not a strong swimmer. No worries! There is no need to be a good swimmer to enjoy swimming with dolphins. Swimmers of any ability can have extraordinary encounters. We just let Phillipa know our abilities and she will prepare by bringing along flotation devices, noodles, flotation jackets, etc.

…more about the Dolphins…:

…more about the Dolphins… What is the water like? Depending upon the time of year and the exact location, you can expect warm and crystal clear waters, between 72-82 degrees. What should I bring? Sunscreen lotion, a hat, a t-shirt you can swim in, a towel and dry clothes. We suggest that you wear your swimsuit under your outer- wear or sarong. What is provided? Water, snacks, lunch How long is the tour? 4 hours Will we see dolphins for sure? As the dolphins are free to choose where they go any time of day, there are no guarantees. However, the dolphins do enjoy human interaction and based upon previous experiences, there is a 90% chance of your swimming with wild dolphins. Having said this, we have been with the dolphins every time she has taken us out. If the dolphins are not present on the day we have booked, we will snorkel in some of the best snorkeling spots on the Big Island!

Come for your Soul…:

Come for your Soul… Awaken your soul through community Enrich your soul through our sharing and discussions Be still and in the quiet let the voice of the soul reveal itself On our special excursions let the soul speak through your body as we talk, walk, swim and take in some of the most beautiful spectacles this world has to offer Notice your energy coming alive in the sheer joy of each day being in paradise with like minded people Experience the wholeness of you as your soul awakens to all that you are Drink in the beauty, fun, rest and joy of this special time to pay attention to your soul and the guidance that is available to you Let the sacred sites and healing rituals of ancient Hawaii flood through and over you as your joy soars

Getting from here to there… (and back again):

Getting from here to there… (and back again) Important things to consider when making your travel arrangements… The time in Hawaii is three hours behind the time in Calgary. There are two airports on the Big Island of Hawaii…one is located near Hilo and the other is located near Kona. We want to make sure that everyone is flying into and out of the Kailua-Kona (KOA) airport on the Big Island. If you wish you can fly to Honolulu on Thursday, March 27th or Friday March 28th and make arrangements to stay overnight in Honolulu. We will give you ideas for accommodation and help connect you with traveling companions. On Saturday, March 29th, the check in day for the retreat, you will catch a flight to the Big Island and we will pick you up at the Kailua-Kona airport at 4pm. Departure day, Saturday, April 5th, we will drop you off at the Kailua-Kona airport at 5 pm so you can catch your flight back to Honolulu and connect with your flights home.

Getting from here to there… (and back again):

Getting from here to there… (and back again) How do I get to the Waikiki hotels? The Honolulu Airport is about 10 miles from Waikiki, so you could catch a cab or there is ground transportation available via a shuttle service operated by Roberts Hawaii www.airportwaikikishuttle.com. This ground transportation is available to/from any hotel in Waikiki and it operates 24 hours a day. You do not need a reservation when you arrive, but need to make one to arrange pickup from your hotel. Call either 954-8652 or 1-866-898-2519 to make arrangements. Here are the schedules and rates: 5:00am to 3:00am Every 20-25 Minutes 3:00am to 5:00am Every Hour Fees: Adults (one-way) $9.00 Adults (round-trip) $15.00 Baggage: 2/person + 1 carry-on No Charge Shuttle pickups locations are marked by yellow signs at various points in the median area outside of baggage claim (indicated by the red numbers on the map). There are also employees wearing yellow “Authorized Airport Waikiki Shuttle” shirts who will be happy to assist you.

Getting from here to there… (and back again):

Getting from here to there… (and back again) Where should I stay in Waikiki? The Waikiki Sand Villa Take a look at their web site - www.waikikisandvillahotel.com This 214 room hotel is located in the heart of Waikiki just two blocks from the white sands of the famous Waikiki Beach. This is only one suggestion.
