slide 1: Achieving High Performance with Miniature Planar Flow Sensors Using the volumetric rate of flow and the quantity of the fluid flowing through a pipe are called the liquid flow meter. The flow rate is directly proportional to the velocity of the flowing liquid and the pressure created in the conduit. Hence the average rate of flow is determined. Various factors like viscosity and the velocity of the fluid the diameter of the pipe and the friction of the liquid and the inner wall of the pipe affect the flow rate. These liquid flow sensors are further simplified for its application in various fields. High-performance Small Sized Flow Sensor With a dimension of 10X10mm 2 the liquid flow sensor produces an extraordinary performance in measuring the flow rate in a planar micro fluidic medium. The miniature planar flow sensors are very efficient and cost effective in high-volume applications consuming minimum space. It has a compact design with rear mounted fluidic ports which enable it to work efficiently in high volume fluids. The conjoined technique of the digital micro sensor chip and the micro fluidic chip operates the flow sensors. It is a most cost-effective method for measuring the flow rate.
