For acquiring an admission for Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree program (total eleven semesters) at any Worldwide Campus of International University School of Medicine (IUSOM), the requirements include Bachelor's degree or 90 college credit hours (three academic years) covering General Biology with lab, General Chemistry with lab, Organic Chemistry with lab, Physics with lab, college level Mathematics preferably Calculus, and college level English. The applicants must have at least one academic year of each of the aforementioned college-level courses. The applicants can enroll at any IUSOM Worldwide Campus without TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, ACT, or MCAT or any other Equivalent Standardized Test; such tests are not required at all.

QUALIFICATIONS AWARDED BY IUSOM Pre-Medical (PreMed) Program Requirements
Applicants who are high school graduates or have less than 90 credit hours of undergraduate course work are required to complete four semesters (total 16 months) of the Pre-Medical (PreMed) program, in order to satisfy the requirements of all licensing boards, at any Worldwide Campus of International University School of Medicine (IUSOM). The applicants having International Baccalaureate (IB), VWO, A-Level, or F.Sc. diplomas or equivalent to such diplomas covering science subjects are eligible to follow a Pre-Med program at IUSOM. The applicants can enroll at any IUSOM Worldwide Campus without TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, ACT, or MCAT or any other Equivalent Standardized Test; such tests are not required at all. After successful completion of a Pre-Med program at IUSOM, the students are promoted to the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree Program.

Students Enrolling at IUSOM After High School Graduation:
At IUSOM, for students having the High School Graduation Diplomas, the total duration of the Curriculum enabling students to acquire an M.D. Degree is 54 months comprising of Pre-Medical (PreMed) Program (4 Semesters, 16 months’ duration) along with Comprehensive Basic Sciences (5 Semesters, 20 months’ duration) and Clinical Medicine (Clinical Rotations) (18 months’ duration) pertaining to M.D. Program.
Students Enrolling at IUSOM After Bachelor's Degree:
At IUSOM, for students having the Bachelor’s Degree or 90 College Credit Hours (3 Academic Years), the total duration of the Curriculum enabling students to acquire an M.D. Degree is 38 months consisting of Comprehensive Basic Sciences (5 Semesters, 20 months’ duration) and Clinical Medicine (Clinical Rotations) (18 months’ duration) pertaining to M.D. Program.

To enroll at IUSOM for Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree or Pre-Medical (PreMed) Program, there is no entrance Examination. However, the other requirements for enrolling for both programs are cited below:
