IUSOM REGISTRAR Attendance RequirementsIt is the policy of all IUSOM Worldwide Cmpuses that 90% of attendance for a subject is must. Otherwise, such course is required to be repeated in the subsequent semester, regardless of the fact that a student might have done fairly good in the all EXAMs.Withdrawing PolicyAt IUSOM, an M.D.-student and PreMed-student may voluntarily withdraw from any course at any time. IUSOM REGISTRAR MisconductStudent misconduct in any fashion is strictly forbidden at all IUSOM Worldwide Campuses. Please consult the Handbook of Rules and Regulation for IUSOM Students. IUSOM policies shall be strictly enforced.

IUSOM REGISTRAR Examining FormatsAt all IUSOM Worldwide Campuses, in accordance to USMLE, all examining formats for Pre-Medical (PreMed) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Programs shall be multiple choice questions. A non-cumulative multiple-choice written examination (50 questions) and practical examination (50 questions) will be given at the scheduled periods.
The examination shall not be constructed to assess everything a student knows or should know, but rather, it shall attempt to target the essentials. At IUSOM, oral examinations will be an integral part of the clinical skills segment of the M.D. curriculum.

IUSOM REGISTRAR Examining SystemAt all IUSOM Campuses, during each semester of Pre-Medical (PreMed) as well as during that of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) (Basic Sciences) Programs, IUSOM holds two EXAMs (one Midterm EXAM and the other Final EXAM), with a weight of 45% marks for each EXAM, for each subject, total weight being 90% of both EXAMs.
The remaining 10% marks are awarded basing upon the daily assignments completed by the students and their daily attendances in the class.

IUSOM REGISTRAR Grading SystemAt all Worldwide Campuses of International University School of Medicine (IUSOM), minimum passing marks are 70%, i.e., 69% marks are considered as failing marks.
At IUSOM, letter grades for each course subject are awarded to Pre-Medical (PreMed) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program students, as detailed at IUSOM webpage:
