Blue Ribbon Behavior Initiative

Committees: 

Committees Community Advisory Committee Selected community members will give feedback on each step of the planning to help prioritize efforts and secure resources for the final action plan. This committee will also meet quarterly to review progress and provide feedback to the district on the Blue Ribbon Plan. District Discipline Oversight Committee This committee is composed of stakeholder representatives who include teachers, principals, students, MEA, HR, ELT, and members from the Staff Committee. This committee is established to meet quarterly per the MEA agreement. This committee will review the Blue Ribbon Plan and will help monitor it’s implementation and assessment. Staff Committee This committee has membership from most departments, principals, teachers, and all Academic Directors. The Staff Committee is responsible for developing the action plan, choosing K-12 programs, and defining appropriate training. They will also make final recommendations to ELT and the Superintendent for any realignment or restructuring necessary to realize the action plan.
