While each individual might have been intrigued by a specific scene or bit of information, collectively they are able to discuss their thoughts, putting together the pieces of the puzzle and working towards a common goal. Survivor spoiling is collective intelligence at practice Survivor viewers joined forces online to determine film locations, cast members, the order in which cast members would be voted off, and ultimately, to discover who the winner would be even before the season began. As episodes aired and members of the online community watched opening credits, previews, and promotional interviews they combined their thoughts and discussed clues which were then investigated in order to reach their ultimate goal.
