Slide2:

Paul Zarda is an Orlando based highly resourceful and skilled Mechanical Engineer. Having many years of experience under his belt, he is primarily responsible for developing the initial concept of Interactive Gimbal Design System (IGD).The IGD system integrates Optical Design, Mechanical Design, Seeker Models, Packaging, and EO Requirements.

Slide3:

Paul Zarda has theoretical and practical expertise in the area of MCAE (Mechanical Computer Aided Engineering), and KBE (Knowledge Based Engineering). He is also a member of R&T Technical staff and actively reviews potential Contract Research and Development (CR&D) contracts. He also reviews RFPs (Request for Proposal) that are routinely offered by government agencies, including the DoD and DARPA.

Slide4:

He has also chaired a Mechanical Design benchmarking team at the local and corporate level. Owing to his skills and expertise in the field, he was chosen from among 80 engineers spanning 25 contractors as Chairman of the Guidance Team. This team received recognition from the Director of DARPA for their contribution in KBE methodology.

Slide5:

Talking about his accomplishments, he has offered over 20 CES courses over the last 19 years at Martin (very few individuals, if any, have offered this many courses). These courses have covered Introductory and Advanced Finite Element Modeling, Structural Optimization, Solid's Modeling, Introduction into the Finite Element Method, Introductory and Advanced NASTRAN Analysis, Finite Element/Finite Difference Thermal Analysis, IBM-PC Structural Analysis, NASTRAN Thermal Analysis, and Advanced Dynamic Analysis.
