Bill White was in attendance at the Backbone Gallery, located in New York and the location of the men's art show in order to show his support. Bill White knows very well the fundraising excellence of Trump's Celebrity Apprentice program; last season, contestant Piers Morgan's chosen charity was The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund for which Bill White serves as a board member. Piers Morgan took the win and was able to raise a total of $750,000 for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. As a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice, all winnings are donated to the celebrity's charity of choice; Piers' winnings, along with an extra $250,000 donated by Donald Trump went to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. Bill White serves on the Board of Trustees for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a non-profit fund that provides support to the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. Bill White also serves as a Trustee of the Fisher House Foundation, which builds comfort homes for patient families at military and veterans hospitals; and the Intrepid Relief Fund, a noteworthy national charitable endeavor supporting troops and their families. With regard to Donald Trump, Celebrity Apprentice, and the shows fundraising efforts, "Trump for President is all I have to say…," remarked Bill White. More money was raised during this episode's competition than any previous entire season of Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice; in total, the men raised $626,908 and $470,000 of that came from the sale of just one piece of art. The women took the win by raising $986,000 and in order to make it an even 1 million for the women, Donald Trump donated an additional $14,000. In all, $1.6 million was raised and each of the team's winnings will go to those charities represented by each of the project managers: John Rich's charity is St. Jude Children's Hospital and Marlee Matlin's winnings will go to Starkey Hearing Foundation.
