Michael Ronayne wins the National Speech Contest in York for the second time in three years. Michael who is lead trainer with the College of Public Speaking is a six times National Finalist and has been placed four times in three different speech disciplines. This is speaking of the highest standard and Michael is one of the most consistent and popular performers in the UK. It was quite a special weekend for Michael who on Friday night was also runner up in the National Topics Contest speaking on the theme of 'Happy Returns' and on Saturday winner of the National Speech Contest with an entertaining speech entitled 'Three Fingers', a speech on the theme of parental responsibility. Said a delighted Michael, "They say that lightening never strikes twice.
