The latest designs from Carin H Constant, in alignment with her prior use of historical themes, were created using the lost wax casting technique, a method widely used in Europe until the 18th century. The process used to create the latest designs by Carin Constant allows for intricate works using metals such as brass, bronze, silver and gold. The twelve newly created designs by Carin H. Constant are bronze and silver and feature such themes seen in her previous works such as Capri, Santos, Adirondack, and Aztec Heart. The most widely known work of Carin H Constant was based in the concept of "Box as TimeMachine" and was achieved by incorporating moving elements and applying reflective surfaces within the interior space to imply perpetual mobility. The final "outcome" of the Box by Carin H Constant became a visual concept through the juxtaposition of new and old found objects. The new work from Carin H Constant, created using the lost-wax casting technique of the 18th century remains based in her foundation of combining new and old and will be an exciting addition to her already brilliant collection.
