INSA-Lyon: institute of excellence: INSA-Lyon: institute of excellence Rankings praise the performance of INSA Lyon: - INSA Lyon achieved 2nd place in the ranking of IT Engineering Schools, according to a survey carried out by the magazine “Le Monde Informatique” (10/02/2006). - INSA Lyon achieved 1st place in the general ranking, the pedagogical ranking and for the ranking of the most professionally oriented French Schools of Engineering, as reported by “Le Point” weekly magazine (17/02/2005 - N°1692). - INSA Lyon achieved 2nd place in the tenth ranking of Engineering Schools carried out by the magazine “Industrie et Technologies” (November 2006), which evaluated the establishments according to the turnover they achieved via their industry partnerships in 2004. - INSA Lyon achieved 10th place in the ranking of the top 40 French “Grandes Ecoles” and Engineering Universities, carried out by the French magazine “Nouvel Economiste” (March 2006 – survey of recruiters). - The magazine “l'Expansion” placed the school in 15th position with respect to salary offered for the first employment and after 3 years experience.
