Born & raised in NYC Married and currently live in Belmont, CA BA from SUNY Stony Brook in 1975 & MSW from UC Berkeley in 1984 Worked in SF inner-city with low-income children & families prior to HR Studied with Dave Ulrich at University of Michigan HR Executive Program Took executive MBA business course at Kellogg – Northwestern 21 years in high-tech Human Resources in the Silicon Valley Come out of an HR Generalist tradition My Background

Japan-based (Tokyo) Automated Test Equipment (ATE) public company 50+ year-old company and 20+ in the U.S. #1 ATE company in the semiconductor economy in the world Competitors include Teradyne, Agilent, Credence, LTX, others Over 4,000 employees worldwide Subsidiaries located in Germany, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, China, & U.S. U.S. subsidiary based in Santa Clara and numerous field offices Role I currently manage the HR function along with: Legal, Marcom, Facilities and CSR functions 1.5 years thus far at Advantest Current Company & Role
