Delta School District Mentorship Program: Mission Statement Delta’s Teacher Mentorship Program is designed to enhance student success through assisting teachers new to the profession and the Delta School District as they strive for professional growth and for creating rich and meaningful learning experiences for their students.

DELTA SCHOOL DISTRICT LEARNING SUPPORT TEAM: MENTORSHIP Mentors in Delta work with: Teachers new to Delta Teachers new to the subject, grade or school Teachers in the Alternate School Program and District Resource Rooms Experienced teachers requesting assistance from the Mentorship Program Teachers on Call

The Human Resources Department provides Teacher Mentors with lists of teachers newly hired to teaching positions Mentors contact teachers and set up meetings at schools Teachers contact the Mentors and request a meeting Principals and Vice-Principals contact Teacher Mentors to refer teachers newly hired in their schools
