EHS Responsibilities as per Position/Grades President /VPs/GMs
Assure EHS policy implementation at shop floor thru Operating Managers.
Assure the implementation of Safe Work Processes in the plant thru operating managers.
Resource availability for EHS training, inspection, corrective actions, and other EHS Program requirement, generated thru various processes like audit, inspections, new regulations.
Study trend of accidents/incidents and recommend actions to avoid recurrence.
EHS Responsibilities as per Position/Grades :
EHS Responsibilities as per Position/Grades Managers
Maintain a current and complete chemical inventory and MSDSs in their work place.
Supervising personnel for Effective Implementation of the EHS program into the work processes.
Providing necessary information/equipments to subordinates to protect their health an environment.
Auditing his/her area of control for improvement w.r.t. EHS and implementing corrective actions for all the violations as highlighted in safety audits, inspections etc.
Ensure that organizational training requirement have been completed and provide individual employees with training specific to the area in which they will be working.
Making subordinates available for attending in house /out house EHS training.
Taking Disciplinary Actions against violators of EHS rules/regulations as highlighted during audits.
Prepare accident reports and forward copies to EHS and implement recommended corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
EHS Responsibilities as per Position/Grades :
EHS Responsibilities as per Position/Grades Executives/Area incharge(including shift incharge)
Supervising personnel for effective implementation of the EHS programme into the work process.
Auditing his/her area of control for improvement w.r.t. EHS
Make sure that all containers of hazardous material are properly labelled
Identify needs for engineering/administrative control in his/her area of control, to improve EHS.
Inform His/her superior about the safety requirements
Compliance of the EHS Audits, inspections.
Ensure that EHS rules /Regulations are followed fully during work processes
EHS Responsibilities as per Position/Grades :
EHS Responsibilities as per Position/Grades Employee at lower level
Working in a manner that complies with the company EHS policies as informed by concerned area incharge.
Working in manner that prevents injury to self or injury to others.
Follow established plant safe work practices, and similar area incharge established requirements.
Notify area incharge about incidents/accidents.
Attending training classes as per training Schedule and implement the learning into the workprocesses.
