An effective way of reaching the target audience would be to create a website that not only promotes those aspects but also assures travelers that the country has taken large steps in the security department. The largest obstacle would be over coming Columbia’s reputation as the gun-toting, cocaine smuggling country most people think of it as, but with an updated website and press releases from the Columbian government, tourism is bound to increase.
