Customizing your maps :
Customizing your maps All states can be pulled apart and customized, including resizing.
To re-color a state, double-click on the state and select your own color from the Colors and Lines tab.
You will not be able to write text on the states as they are formatted as shapes and not text boxes.
If you are using PowerPoint 2007 however you will be able to use the shapes as text boxes. Before typing your text, please make sure that the shape is set to Do not Auto fit.To do this, right click on the shape, select Format Shape > Text Box. Under Auto fit, select Do not Auto fit.
You can group the states by selecting more than one state, right click and select Grouping > Group.
To ungroup, go to Grouping > Ungroup.
