Locate & Zip Your Saved Files : Locate & Zip Your Saved Files Unless you have changed the default location your AuthorPoint Lite files should be saved under: “My Documents\authorGEN Projects” Go to the location your files are saved and right-click on the folder authorPoint created folder. Select “Send To” from the menu then select “Compressed (Zipped) Folder”. Upload to Your Course : Upload to Your Course Log into your D2L course. Go to the “Manage Files” area. To get there: Select “Edit Course” on the top right-hand side of the screen. Choose “Manage Files” from the choices. Select “Upload” from the top menu. Click the “Browse” button and browse for the zipped file. Click the “Upload” button. Unzipping inside of D2L : Unzipping inside of D2L Click the box next to the zipped file you just uploaded. Click the unzip icon next to the name of the file. Click “Ok” on the message that appears. Your folder is unzipped into the same location as the zipped folder. (Notice there is no .zip extension on the file now.) Linking to the file in Content : Linking to the file in Content Click on “New Topic” at top of Content page. Choose “Course File” from the choices. Choose the “Parent Module” from the drop down box or add a new module with the “[add module]” link. Enter a title in the “Title” box.
