Interphase!!! :
Interphase!!! The cell spends most of it’s life in interphase.
G1, S, and G2 are the stages of interphase that prepare the cell for mitosis.
Prophase & Metaphase :
Prophase & Metaphase During prophase the chromosomes become visible and condense.
In metaphase the double chromosomes line up along the equator.
Anaphase & Telophase :
Anaphase & Telophase In anaphase the chromosomes begin to separate.
In Telophase 2 groups of chromosomes reach opposite sides of the cell.
A new nuclear envelop is formed around the cells.
Cytokinesis :
Cytokinesis Cytokinesis is the division of the cytoplasm.
This is the last stage of mitosis.
Creating 2 new cells.
