Cancer and Regular Cells :

Cancer and Regular Cells By K odiak and A lex

Cancer:

Cancer Cancer is a mutated cell that does not stop multiplying these mutated cells do not stop when they receive the signal to stop The P53 Gene in cancer cells are mutated and do not function properly making the cell rapidly multiply uncontrollably

Regular cells:

Regular cells Regular cells function properly and stop when given the signal The P53 Gene in regular cells are fine and function properly When the cell receives the signal it halts the reproduction of more cells

Differences:

D ifferences cancer Normal cells Cancer cells cant stop dividing The p53 gene in cancer cells are either defective or damaged Cells can stop reproducing In normal cells the p53 gene is fine and receives the signals

P53 Gene:

P53 Gene The P53 Gene in a cell is what controls the cells reproduction The gene gives the information to the cell to stop reproducing Cancer cells although do not respond to the signal, this is because the P53 Gene is defective or damaged.
