Seasons research Field:

Seasons research Field Jade Carey

Why..?:

Why..? From my survey which showed the seasons that people like I decided to experiment with some of our locations, to see what looked best. It shows that our locations could of been used in all seasons. To get these effects I used ‘picnik’ to manipulate them and have written an explanation next to them.

Spring:

Spring From this picture you can see that in spring the sun is starting to show itself, starting to get brighter. The leaves are green, and this is important if we wanted to shoot with green leaves. This also makes the film look like it is set in spring as all the leaves are new and fresh to the world. This will also be good for making the audience feel cheerful as it is a nice bright colour.

Summer:

Summer From this picture, you can see the bold colours of summer are shown by the brighter picture. This helps to show the audience how alive everything is, if we were filming here then everything would stands out. Another advantage of filming in summer is that you can film a romantic scene of a couple as the sunsets because in the open field the sun is so bright and bold in the sky.

Autumn:

Autumn From the picture you can tell that it is an autumn scene. The brown leaves show the trees to be shedding their leaves for the winter season. This sort of season can be used for different types of filming such as miserable scenes where its raining and blustery and the dull colours of the leaves make the audience know its a bad scene. It can be used for romantic scenes where people are wrapped up nice taking a stroll through the multi coloured leaves with an autumn breeze blustering gently through them. In the field this could work either way.

Winter:

Winter From the picture you can tell that this is a winter scene. The bright majestic white of the snow is perfect for filming a romantic scene as you could film two lover kissing on a wide brilliant canvas of white. It could give a very Christmassy feel about the scene, and would give the audience a variation.
