As new technologies continue to be developed new practices have to be learnt. Making learning accessible to all Europeans and lifelong learning will be even more important in the future. What We Want EducationWhat We Want: The integration of the disabled, diseased or socially excluded is a main topic which has to be tackled in a lasting perspective. Efficient social aid will be even more important considering the problem of obsolescence of European society. What We Want Social issuesWhat We Want: What We Want Human dignity is vulnerable. Still nowadays, in Europe. The protection of fundamental rights is the prerequisite for a fair and peaceful life in the future. Therefore, top priority has to be given to measures which prevent, combat and deal with the violation of these rights. Human RightsWhat We Want: What We Want Human disaster has become a global challenge. The developed countries have a particular responsibility in this respect. The EU intends to support humanitarian projects through different programmes in developing countries in order to act more efficiently in case of catastrophes. Humanitarian aid What We Want: What We Want Culture is a wide-ranging concept which consists of more than only paintings and sculptures. Art criticises and enlightens. Creations of art are the result of an open-minded, integrating and tolerant society. It is important to support the process of democratisation by funding artists, particularly in the accession countries.
