Feet? What Feet?:

Feet? What Feet? By : MacKenzie

Slide2:

Long, Long ago, when the great mammoths roamed the earth, there was a jungle of animals, glistening rivers, and a giant canopy on top of it all.

Slide3:

In that large jungle there was a cruel snake, a daring alligator, a young giraffe, an athletic monkey, and a plump frog. Snake was very quick, greedy, and always gossiped about the other animals.

Slide4:

One sizzling summer day, Snake set out to do his duty; which he thought was to gossip. He searched and searched and finally found Frog who was talking to Monkey.

Slide5:

'Oh, did I tell you about the souvenir thing Monkey?' Monkey shook her head. 'O.K., well, I was at the junk store yesterday and I saw a goat kid, and he ran through the hole in the fence with a souvenir in his hooves!' she croaked.

Slide6:

Snake could not wait to gossip again; he hadn’t gossiped in a long time. Oh, and he had to tell Giraffe too. Snake could not wait to get Frog all boiling mad that he had the wrong point of view. SNAKE!

Slide7:

As Snake reached Giraffe’s home he was pleased to see Alligator was there too; he was snug up in the back corner on Giraffe’s couch made of sticks and leaves from the maple tree. 'That makes the trip a lot easier!' Snake shouted trying to get their attention.

Slide8:

The animals starred at the T.V. 'Frog stole a souvenir guys!' He screamed. The animals looked up blankly. 'It’s true; I heard it with my own ears! Can’t you believe it?' 'Nuh uh!' Young Giraffe squealed.

Slide9:

The sun quickly came down after that and the glistening moon came out. When Snake was asleep the other animals had a private meeting.

Slide10:

'Come on, he gossiped again?!?!' Frog muttered angrily. 'And he lied too!' She said again. 'He needs to learn a lesson; Alligator get one of your baby teeth and chop off his legs! No offense to anyone else but, Alligator’s the important one this time.'

Slide11:

'O.K.,' Alligator mumbled under his breath. The next morning Snake woke up and had no legs! 'Ahhhhh! I was attacked by a zombie! Helelp! Helllp!' Snake sobbed. The other animals ignored him. 'Monkey, Giraffe, Alligator, Frog?!?!'

Slide12:

The animals never told him the story and so whenever Snake goes to bed, he never closes his eyes; in case the zombie came again. He hissed when things came by; to scare them away incase they were the zombie, and his legs never grew back. To this very day all Snake’s ancestors don’t ever blink, always hiss, and still, don’t have legs.
