This potentially record-breaking shrine to cultured drinking (as the longest bar in the world) was handcrafted in India by a 10,000 strong team, who are responsible for nearly all of the fittings throughout the building. The bar’s deep wooden base is covered with intricate hand carved bronzing depicting scenes of Babylon from the Gilgamesh period At Gilgamesh, the emphasis is on comfort, large cushioned horse shoe banquet seating, with soft silk pillows for lounging. An innovative lighting system gives an ambient feel, with over 250 colours subtly changing to reflect the mood.
